Korean Transformers

Postby vulgar_wraith » Sun Aug 26, 2007 11:50 am

I have seen MISB Korean Transformers on ebay and other sites,I really have no experience with them. Can anyone tell me are they reissues? Are they KO figures? What is the quality? Are they worth buying? Its seems to me for some reason they appear a little cheaper than a figure packaged in US or Japanese packaging.

Actually I really like G2 Megatron (green/purple tank) and Big Convoy (Optimus as a Mammoth).I was just curious if they were the real deal.

BBTS sold them a while back
I wish I had gotten some of them.
Especially Gigastorm. I think they are a Takara
product only produced in Korean packaging.

They're legit figures, as previously stated. The figures from BWII and BW Neo were produced by Sonokong under license from Takara. The quality is roughly the same, and they're cheaper at times because there were more produced and thus, easier to come by. In fact, I think Sonokong kept producing these figures even when the lines ended in Japan.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Those are hard to speak for.A lot of the beast wars stuff were reproduce by takars for the Korean market in Korean box'es.But there are Korean knock off's of some of the line as well.If your buying off of ebay a good way of telling if your getting the real stuff is to see if its going for too little an amount.[but thats not always 100%
