Hi,

I have a chance to grab a Botcon Hotel Exc. MISB Sunstreaker and a MLC grey Diaclone Twintwist.

How much do you reckon would be a fair price for each?

$50-100 for sunstreaker- honestly he was one of many repaints. Not sure on Twintwist... b/c of the diaclone status- depends on what kind of deal the seller wants. I would probably say $50-70. Probably try to make a deal for $150 total or less.

There arent alot of auctions to guage prices on that by the way- so I apologize if I am over or under estimating.

I had the same issue. I checked ebay and it is hard to tell.

I figured about the same price though. Like 120-130 for the pair.

Anyone else wanna validate our guesses?

Yeah I would go with that price.... I was being nice about the price

I like that sunstreaker mold, but they've done so many things with it - it would be impossible to warrant a price higher than $100, even though it is a limited version.

Yeah I would go with that price.... I was being nice about the price I like that sunstreaker mold, but they've done so many things with it - it would be impossible to warrant a price higher than $100, even though it is a limited version.

True true, unless it was clear!!

If I recall, it was limited to 300 pieces. That would be limited enogh to make me want it.

If I ever have just an excess amount of cash, I am so going to commission an artist to blow me a clear MP Prime out of glass or even better, crystal!

Speaking of cool things, I am kinda pisy today. I got sniped on a gold Jazz auction this morning and then lost out on a diaclone colored UM tonight. Bonger is not a happy camper!

Ive seen a clear prime somewhere (not WST)... it looked alright- it was kinda plain-think it was homemade. Yeah, dont remind me of Optimus holy grails- its just not right. :::waits for lucky draw bashing:: You're after that gold jazz- what price??? I seen tons for auction in Japan.

Such a great price, but alas.

Hmm, I'd hope to be able to get one for around $70.

Hah, nothing to bash about golden lagoon prime. He will be mine eventually!

I don't think that Diaclone Twintwist is all that hard to come by...

It sounds like you're going to overpay for him.

Now Sunstreaker...

Shoot, I don't know. I've seen him go for 100-120 dollars.

I got mine for something stupid like $25. (I have to apologize to Fender Bender everytime I say that. The eBay seller F'd him over. I happened to buy the toy from a local store that sells online as well. He had two Sideswipes, so maybe, just maybe, the Sunstreaker I got wasn't meant for FB afterall. I hate mysteries.)

I don't think Sunstreaker will do anything but increase in value. If you can get him in the $50-75 range, do it.

Among the really rare Botcon stuff (hotel exclusives and such), Sunstreaker is probably the cheapest now, at least. He's been had for much more reasonable prices these days. Counterpunch's situation isn't the only time I've heard of a Sunstreaker sell for less than $50. Keep that in mind.

Can't say anything about Twin Twist myself, but it's still fricking Twin Twist. He can't be that expensive...
