i noticed that all drones have one eye, why is this and is speed dial 800 a drone?

To give them lack of personality and originality I guess (please don't mention Shockwave, I can't explain that), as for the RealGear, nope, cause he's got a mouth, no?

Single eye is cheaper to make than creating faces for all the movie game "drones". And the movie line is entirely about maximising profits. :P

I think the "lacking personality and Individual thought" because they are drones was probably the main thinking behind the single eye, and the cost saving was an added bonus.

Only in the IDW prequel comics do the Drones seem to have individual thoughts, but I'd say the toys are based purely on the game drones.
