After resisting the urge for months to buy a Movie TF my wife went out a brought me Bonecrusher. Now I am in love with the line and am hunting the others. Thats goodbye to any spare cash I had. Grrrrrrrrrrr

I hear ya! the only one's missing from my classics collection are the games of deception botcon exclusives as well, and I never bothered to get Cliffjumper. I never liked his character ever and he's just a repaint of Bumble Bee who is one of my favorites from the line so far.
I'm actually thinking of getting a loose starscream from ebay and having him painted with thundercracker's colors to at least have the original three seekers complete. Too bad I can't do the same with ram jet to make Dirge and Thrust

[quote="toxicity"]wow really? you got hooked on bonecrusher?
I know Bonecrusher is ugly as sin,(Bot modes a cross between an insect & ape with a bit of squirrel thrown in) but I still like him.

cool girlfriend btw.
but thats cool that you're hooked
now you can join the hunt for 08 BB! haha
Perhaps this is just a pet peeve of mine but the OP stated "wife" not girlfriend. Girlfriend =/= wife.
On topic. It is interesting that a Bonecrusher of all things hooked you. looks like you'll be joining the masses waiting for this supposed new flood in October. Do you have a particular method as to which ones you'll collect (ie: Movie appearance bots only, only Decepticons, Autobots, etc.)

Yes I don't want to start getting my wife & girlfriend mixed up * Joke

As to what I will be collecting it will be a combibination of what I like the look of & what I can actualy get hold of.

Actually, you can. The BotCon Dirge is a straight repaint of Ramjet. The only one which has resculpted wings is Thrust, and there are a number of people who have done customs of him as well.

Really, there were only ever 3 on my list! Ha! I ended up with six regardless. The Primes are all pretty damn good. CC Bumblebee is nice too. Starscream makes me wish I still had that $20 bucks and Ironhide LOOKS nice. If I try to pose him at all, the top and bottom halve disconnect. The rest I can certainly love without. Maybe 70's BB too, after him, I'm out.

I figured one of each would be fine, and no repaints. Today I picked up 2 G1 Starscreams, and 2 G1 Jazz, and now I'm contemplating picking up ThunderCracker and Rescue Ratchet.
I realy could live without them, but I saw them in damaged boxes and I know at TRU if you make a stink about that they'll normaly take $5 off a $20 bot.
I think the only movie stuff I'm still intrested in is the RiggBlaster, Ultimate BB, another 08BB to open, then the Target Scouts. Maybe come clearance, I'll look into some doubles(assuming they ever get restocked). The whole AllSpark Unleased line is a pass outside of the fresh molds.
I'm trying to pick up the exclusive sets(hence G1 Jazz and StarScream) for prosperity. I've been putting off the Target Scouts because I already have all these guys(most in multiples).
But outside of that handful, I have one of each mold, so I'm happy. Also I scored a SubWay Sketchers ShoeFormer today!

I have to say that the movie line (actually the movie itself), tossed me into collecting. I knew I kinda wanted to do it, but never took a big plunge.....bought some Star Wars POTF back in 95, but back then I was a poor high school student. Now I have my own company and a nice bankroll. So now I have (I should say will have, ALL on preorder from EE, BBTS, digital-toys, etc) all of the following movie line figures:
Deluxe:
Arcee (x2)
Barricade (x2)
Barricade (Redecco) (x2)
Bonecrusher (x2)
Brawl (x2)
Bumblebee 74 (x2)
Bumblebee 08 (x2)
Dreadwing (x2)
Dropkick (x2)
Jazz (x2)
Jazz (Final Battle) (x2)
Jazz (Target Redecco) (x2)
Longarm (x2)
Optimus Prime (Protoform) (x2)
Payload (x2)
Scorponok (x2)
Starscream (Protoform) (x2)
Swindle (x2)
Wreckage (x2)
Leader:
Optimus
Brawl
Megatron
Voyager:
Blackout
Ironhide
Optimus
Megatron
Rescue Ratchet
Ratchet
Starscream (Target Redecco)
Thundercracker
Robot Replicas:
Bublebee
Barricade
Optimus
Jazz
Frenzy
Megatron
Ultimate:
Bumblebee (x2)
All to be kept MISB and AFA graded except for the "extra" deluxe figures and the "extra" ultimate bumblebee.
Wow, speaking of wives, When she finds out that I ordered all this stuff, I may need a place to stay.......any takers?!!?[/b]

Granted thats alot of maney to shell out, ESPECIALY online, but your missing out on the goodness of the Voyager and Leader(execpt Brawl)figures.
Now again, I say it since I've pretty much done it, thats a big bill to foot, but hell, if you're in this deep, just take the whole frigin plunge!
It does become an addiction though, not as fun as crack(I'm assuming), but just as costly! I'll bet after you open your deluxes, the others will soon follow.
Trust me, your gonna look at the pics of Scorponok hanging off BlackOut, and before you know it, you won't be able to resist holding that combination in your hand and rip that BlackOut right open!
From there, you'll wanna experience Voyager Primes guns and compair them to the one on Leader Prime...
Believe me, I'm a strong willed, adimant, patient, rational person most of the times. I live humbly, but still have 2(going on 3)rooms full of these guys

AGREED, but it is hit or miss.
Still HAGGELING and TRANSFORMERS are two of my favorite things, I love it!
Last weekend I found an origional Tie-Fighter, and an origioal Vader Special Tie-Fighter(forget what its actualy named).
The guy wanted $25 each. I got him down to $20 for both and he threw in a box of comics

The comics I didn't go through yet, but with minimal cleaning I got $50 for the Tie-Fighter, and $83 for Vader's ship!
Yesterday, I scored 2 boxes of CDs for $15. I counted 85 discs, I'm keeping maybe 20. The rest are going to a shop that I use to work for that pays good for used CDs, and since I us to work there, they will pay very well indeed

That's kinda why I bought 2 of the deluxes....one for display, and one for opening....I think seconds of the other classes will soon follow. I bought the "collectors" grade from BBTS, so I'll have a good submission for AFA, my seconds are/will be store bought with no regards for box condition. That way the hunting won't stress me out as much since I'll know I already have one at home. We'll see how it goes!!
I should note that I live in Hawaii, and if you think TF's are hard to find on the mainland........try finding them here!!

Buy Ratchet! lol, you lucky bugger, getting an '08 BB so soon! I'm one of the many who still haven't.
And you should count yourself lucky your wife is so supportive of your hobby. Addiction/savings be damned!

The best part about flea markets is that they're not 'real stores' per say so you can threaten the merchant with bodily harm to lower the price. What are they going to do? Get on a phone and call security? Pffft. Sell me that G1 Grimlock for $3, grandma and I may let you keep your eyes.
