So what? I was buying stuff privately from another Hong Kong seller and he was himself admitting that other Asian sellers were ripping off the buyers with their inflated shipping rates. A figure of that size was less than $20 to ship. Proof : the same seller is only asking $30 instead of $40 for other figures of a similar size (and only $25 to ship the bigger Voyager Prime test shot...). SPX and herotoysmaker are the worst when it comes to ripping you off on shipping.

Oh yes, they all weigh the same too and there is only one method of shipping things from hong kong.

That's pretty asinine. If you aren't bidding on it, it really shouldn't matter to you in the first place.

Lack of paint apps. Okay, just joking.
Anyway, I just shipped a leader prime to Singapore recently, and it was 43.50 with the USPS.

It gives a good warning to the seller. I've done it in the past and it worked. Maybe you prefer to watch the parade, but I'd rather be part of it.
No, it doesnt. It only makes you look like a dick. Shipping prices are crazy out of country. Besides, the guy's got a proto, he can charge whatever the hell he wants for it, Some poor soul is willing to pay a ridiculous amount for it.
Shipping or otherwise. Oh, and I despise parades. I'd rather ignore them and do my own thing.

I'm sorry man, but you just proved that you don't have a **** clue about shipping. Re-read what I posted instead of just posting for the sake of posting to look like an ass. No you can't charge whatever you want for shipping and handling. The figure being a prototype is completely irrelevant. Shipping goes by weight and size, not rarity. Read the rules on Ebay.

Yes, and considering how heavy that figure would be, I'd assume it would be expensive to ship. Also considering that they could doing an expedited shipping method, it CAN cost $40 to ship.

No sir. Have you seen how big the figure is? Same size as a 6Ti figure, only lighter because it doesn't have any die-cast. Why don't you just take my word for it? I just told you I had figures of the same size or slightly bigger shipped airmail from Hong Kong from another HONEST seller for less than $20. Is that hard to understand/believe? I bought a shitload of movie test shots (pretty much 2/3 of my movie toys are test shots) from a handful of Asian sellers based in China and Hong Kong, I know what I'm dealing with. I've bought 3 figures from that particular seller in the past (Voyager Starscream, Scout Arcee and FAB Starscream. None of them were sent expedited, just regular airmail in cheap and half taped boxes with little to no padding.
On a side note, I remember somebody firmly claiming a deluxe figure couldn't be shipped from the US to Canada for less than $10-12; I got the heavier 6Ti Magnus shipped first class airmail for $8.26 and it took 4 days to get from Florida to here (Quebec).

Forget the rules on ebay. Here's the truth of the matter. Life isn't fair. People do things they shouldn't. It really doesn't matter what you think the shipping should be. You're not getting the auction shut down. You're just being a dick. I'm not gonna argue what I do or do not know about shipping with you. I've been buying and selling things over the internet for several years and I've got a better idea than you might think.
