Help! Galaxy Force Soundwave head
Hey guys, sorry if this question has been asked before.
I recently received a Galaxy Force Soundwave and was devastated because it didnt look the way i expected.
it looked like this:
http://www.tformers.com/reviews.php?op= ... ent&id=665
i expected it to look like this:
http://seibertron.com/toys/fullsize.php ... 1&image=59
the difference is that piece under the head. On my figure and in the picture on tformers, that bottom peice sticks out, leaving a big gap between the chest and the head, but on seibertron's picture the peice seemed to be pushed down, so that the gap was elminated
I love how it looks without the gap, and i tried pushing the peice down to no avail. Any one have any idea how i can get it down like the one in Seibertron's gallery?
Thanks

If you look closely, you can see some rough cut marks on the
left hand side of the gallery photo.
Ryan's form is the proper transformation. Before you lock the wings and the chest in place with the arms, the head can be pushed down a bit, making it look like Ryan's picture.

Ahhh, I see. Thanks for clearing it up!

YES! woot!
After many minutes of hard manual labor, in which i constantly felt like i would snap one peice or peg, i finally got it. First, dislodging his left arm from the two pegs too a long time, because it was so tight. Then, pushing the part under was just as hard, because the part was a little bit bigger than the sides, so i had to nudge really hard, all the while trying to avoid slipping and shoving soundwaves's head off.
But it was so worth it.
Not only does he look infinitely better, but i also have the satisfaction o fknowing that unlike many people on the interweb, i have him transformed correctly
Thanks again for the help guys!

I'm glad someone jumped in and corrected me before you began!
Sorry about the misinformation, and enjoy your Soundwave!

I thought this was going to be a thread about expecting silver paint apps on Soundwaves face (because you'd seen the Takara version) but becuase you go the Hasbro version all you got was a smidge of gold.

Good lord yes, that's the reason I sold GF Soundblaster and almost sold Soundwave, one of the fudgiest Transformations in TF history.

Fortunately I figured it out and seem to have got it down... but he still spends most of the time in bot mode.

I got mine used from another collector. He's pretty hard to find these days. Your best bets are Carbombya or eBay.

Just bought one for $32.00 and $10.00. A little pricey but worth it for a new collector.
