Sweetest movie toy alt. mode?
Hands down, the best movie toy alt. mode has got to be Barricade. It's sleek and accurate, and it doesn't have dark blue panel lines all over it.

I'm a Holden (GM) man myself, but I do appreciate good looking Fords (Mustang, BA Falcon Ute etc etc) and the Saleen mold for Barricade is beautiful.
08 Bumblebee is nice and all and in real life, the far prettier car. In the toys however Barricade takes the cake.

Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

I'm partial to Leader Megatron (I KID! I KID!)
Barricade definitely looks most like the real car because it's a darker paint job that hides all the cracks and stuff, but I *really* love the G1 repaint of Jazz. In fact, of all of my Transformers on my bookcase/shrine, he's the only one still in alt mode.

I actually like Ratchet's search and rescue hummer.

I love Barricade... I think he's my favorite movie toy.

As much as I like Barricade, I hold it against them that they didn't do a damn thing with the rear side windows and the rear window itself. Not even blue paint. Yeah, he looks sinister because he's all black, but it's also kinda crappy they did it that way.
I kinda like the way 76BB looks in alt mode more. When I was growing up, the first car I can remember my dad having was a red 78 Camaro. The way it sat low in the rear and kinda squatty, BB just takes me back to that.
I really like most of leader Prime's truck mode as well, despite the lack of chrome parts and some other differences. He's definitely up there in the #1 or 2 spot for me.

Sadly, even in leader class, I think Blackout's alt mode would still be only 1/2 the size needed to be "scale". But it'd definitely be better for sure.
I thought about it some more, and Prime and both BB's are my top 3 probably.

Barricade, and Classic Camaro BB (just like the look of BB's alt mode)

While Barricade is cool and all ... I still am always comparing him to my Binaltech Grimlock. There's absolutely no comparison there as far as a Mustang goes. Grimlock is not part of the movie line obviously, but he still casts a shadow over Barricades "cool" factor.
The black color really does help hide the lines though.
I'll give the award to CC BB. I hate to do it, but he really is THAT cool. Conversely, I think classic camaro BB is the absolute worst looking. I really don't know what anyone sees in that toy. To each their own though.
Some of the "best" figures that people mention in other threads ... lead me to believe that some are just wanting to have a different opinion than everyone else. Let's keep it real in this one.

Yeah, barricade is really acurate to the movie.
But still i'm gonna go with Prime on this one. His truck mode is really good, and the rubber wheels make him less noisy when rolled around

Barricade
Prime
Blackout
I can't decide. Barricade really does lock up nice and doesn't really look like he'd transform. Unlike 70's BB *which I love* where you can see the cracks running through the car, especially in the rear quarter panels.

Arcee. She's so sexy in her new alt. mode. So firm and tightly packed.
