I went to Kmart as a last ditch effort to find some Classics and I found these mini Energon figures that transform. Characters were Megatron, Soundwave, Sunstreaker and a few others. I would have bought a few, but they would add up at $3.99 a pop and I already had Titanium Jetfire in hand. Anyways, what are these guys?

O'yeah, they were about 2" tall in bot mode.

Sounds like the LOC line made it to Kmart. They are about $3.99 and are miniatures of some of the larger Cybertron figures.

Since you said Energon it kinda got confusing, but i believe tigertracks is right in saying they were the LOC figures.

It still bugs me that they call Excellion Hot Shot....

Yeah, those look like them. I said Energon by mistake, some how that line sticks in my head when looking at any non-classic line. So yeah, they where Cybertron figures. Might have to pick some up so I can carry them in my pockets like a true dork.

How do I know what to look for, if I'm not up on the abbreviations?

Hell i carry G1 Soundwave and G1 rodimus were ever i go. Just Rods cab. Not his trailer.
