I'm actually really impressed by the build quality of the figureine plus the fact that it looks like everything folds flips and twists to become the robot/car.

Lets just hope that (gods willing) they decide to make the entire movie line into this ultimate class, that they might (just might) have a good seller on their hands

Awesome toy, but I think it's gonna be a shelf-warmer. I'll pick it up when it's 75% off, thank you very much.

An entire line of $90.00 Ultimate figures? Oh yeah that'll be a good seller. Mmm hmm, if I was Hasbro, where would I sign?!

...you've got to be kidding me.

The only thing I am unpleased about is that they didn't give him a replacement arm, the chest should have come down, then split apart, and snap back over the shoulders around the head to look like the actual movie bot, and the visor/armor mode should have been movable.. which seems to be what everyone keeps forgetting..so bottom line, not worthy of the words, "Ultimate" It's a glorified movable version of the voyager Bumblebee..

By adding that last line you failed to justify your response to what I said.

All i was pointing out was that if they are prepared to make movie tie-in toy's at this high level then I think, therfore it is my oppinion, that if people want them, they will pay the price tag for them.

If you can't see where im coming from have a slice of this:

1990's Powerrangers were all the rage, and when they released the rather elusive yet highly popular green ranger with Dragonzord you could not see it for dust, and those retailers that were able to procure said figure set were charging anything up to silly money for them because they knew that people would pay anything to buy them.

Now the point of that example isn't due to rarity or price, but the point of it is that if people want it, people will pay for it - no matter the price.

Yeah, me too. Looks cool and all but I don't like Bumblebee, so I can't justify the price to myself. But I will probably wind up nabbing it on clearance or something, becuase I' m a nerd.
This figure reminds me of Robosapien, and when I first saw Roboraptor I had to have one immediately. I think it took more time for me to unscrew his feet from the plastic mooring than I actually played with it. So I learned my $100 anomatronic lesson last summer. But still, I'll most likely buy it eventually.

Cool looking figure, but I can't justify nearly $100 for it. I also can't justify an entire line of this. Even if the price wasn't already murder, don't we already have Masterpiece?

My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.
