Toys "R" Us Canada to Sponsor TFcon Toronto 2008

The Canadian Transformers Convention formerly known as TransformersCon is back. This year the convention has changed its name and has a sponsor in Toys "R" Us. The name of the convention is TFcon Toronto. The convention will be held on June 21, 2008 at the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel. Toys "R" Us Canada will support the convention through various means including the distributation of TFcon promotional material in Toys "R" Us stores. This years convention will include a Hasbro Canada Transformers question and answer panel, Canada's largest dealer room for Transformers merchandise, a live Transformers script reading with a Transformers voice actor, guest question and answer panels, autograph sessions, a Transformers trivia contest, art and costume displays, with more to be announced. I think I'ma go to TFCon this year, sinnce BotCon is no go and I want to hit a dealer room to get me parts for Finback.

Sounds great. Looks like TFcon is trying to become more like BotCon. All they really need now is a cool set of exclusives.
