Hi, I missed out on Cyclonus the first time around, and was about to pick him up on ebay, but I just noticed that more Universe repaints are coming out (for the Voyager class toys anyway). Any idea if the deluxes will be available again? Thanks a lot everyone!

Universe Cyclonus is a great figure, rasky47. I haven't heard of any plans for a Cyclonus repaint but even if one came out, you may not like it so if you found one for a good price on eBay, you may want to snatch it up while you can.

He mentioned specifically future Universe repaints so I assumed he wasn't speaking of Strafe as it's already out and it's a Japanese exclusive and not a Universe repaint.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to pick Cyclonus up, I just don't want to pay ebay prices if I can get him at retail. Ugh. Well, thanks for all the recommendations. Once I get paid this week I think I'll hit ebay.

(By the way, I also missed Hotshot. I'm hearing he is not that good though. Recommend or no recommend?)

Get Armada Hot Shot, you can find one on eBay for cheap.

if you live in the states,check out walgreens or rite aid.The few around my house have the last wave or two on the shelf still.Heavy price though for a deluxe.Like $17.99

If you can get Cyclonus at retail, it'll be great. If you can't and go eBay, you may want to consider doing "one stop shopping". If you have a figure or two more you want to get, buying them all from a single seller can usually save you greatly on shipping fees if the seller offers decent combined shipping rates.

If you can get Cyclonus at retail, it'll be great. If you can't and go eBay, you may want to consider doing "one stop shopping". Unless you're looking for MOSC ones, the Cyclonus I've seen on eBay for loose complete were sold for pretty affordable.

Over a third of my collection so far is composed of loose figures. When they're only used for display(and the seller is honest), they're just as good as new figures. I'm very glad I don't have any desire for a MiSB collection. I've saved so much money.

Srly, there's some MISB that one can only dream of owning. MISB Grand Max for an example.

Thanks for the advice and information everyone! Yeah, I'm thinking about picking up a loose Cyclonus on ebay... Thanks for the tip about Walgreens and Rite-Aid, I'll definitely look those up! Appreciate it!

I just received my Universe Cylonus from BBTS for a good price.

I just received my Universe Cylonus from BBTS for a good price.

I bought a few from BBTS before for Cyclonus sweeps.
