This page is actually not too exciting. It basically says that the Movie toys will be released in Japan on June 2nd, and the first 50 people or so that visit a particular Toys R Us at midnight in Tokyo will receive a Bumblebee Basic version (EZ version) for free.

I'm still looking forward to hitting TRU on June second. Though finding out that the Takara versions of the movie toys are just Hasbro figures with a sticker on the box is kind of offputting.

I second that. Usually Takara does their own stuff. I wonder what happened to make this occur.
