SO.. i'm looking at some toys on here and researching web ect. How does this armour work ??? This site gallery of Magnus Classics is what i'm looking at. and ebay auction / google stuff. Shows the Trailer and power up kit. are they both different. ?

also I saw a pic on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/Transformers-CITY-C ... 4ceca20a0e Jin Saotome stuff... did he alter it the way he does. casue one pic shos lots of blue and red or is this th earmor clipping on.

I'm really lost in the fansproject
stuff and gears war add on packages. Some of you experts can you tell me? Also i've seen the diff. colors "shadow commander" I suppose it's used with nemesis prime and shatterd glass prime ?

I'm really not sure what there is to get. Fansproject made a trailer, turns into clip-on armour for the Classics Prime mold. Came in three and a half colour schemes (I say and a half because Powered Commander and DIA Commander are different only in that DIA Commander has chrome on it) with varying degrees of extra parts. (Missile launchers, sword, rifle, etc.)

It's a clip on.

Don't bother with the Gears of War upgrades. FP has one of their own and it actually looks good.

The different colors are for Nemesis Prime and Optimus Prime. Nemesis comes with a sword. The Powered Commander has a brief case. The DIA version has shiny parts.

Jin didn't customize any of it.

The Pics in Jin's Auction show 2 armor/trailers. That's why you see parts around the single Magnus figure, and the head/chest he's holding, and a trailer in the back.

The Parts and chest/head are one trailer/armor and the trailer in the back is a second one. I'm guessing only for display.

As was said the trailer disassembles into the armor parts that are then clipped on to the figure.

The Magnus figure is included in Jin's auction so if you already have one I wouldn't buy that.

Of course since Magnus was less than easy to come by when he was out in the 2 packs, he can go for pretty high prices these days.

See you did answer it, for me at least. This is tough stuff to figure out when you're looking to get into differnt stuff to collect. I woudln't know DIA was differnt with extra parts nor would I even know where to begin to search for this info.

Sorry it was confusing. I was lost.
I'm just trying to see what all is out there and how it works and what it costs to "pimp" out your toys. You see... for instance Optimus... when I wanna see his toys ; I simply go to your gallery, but to me i'm not seeing all I want. I'd like to be one and done. When I click on the Classics figure / henkei I'll see the figure but I'd like to see the comparision with it and the "commander" trailer add on stuff. I like seeing what knock off's are out there but theres like 100 pages to go through. I'm sure you have a youtube link or something archived but you always have to "know" what your looking for.
When I simply want to just find everything there is on optimus It's just not there and googling is also tough. I still use this website the most and find it amazingly helpful. I'd found tons of stuff out here that I just dont' know. I've collected only since 07 movie came out. So i'm behind.
