it was i believe 1995? 1996? ya know the begining of th BEASTWARS TV series. it was like, the baddest ass of all transformers show at the time. yeah, i watched the original series as a kid but i didn't pay much attention to it as when i was a kid i had other things to do.
but at that time i was 9 or 10. when the toys came out i...didn't buy much. i had the prime bat and megatron crock two pack. but didn't get much. anyways, mom asked me what i wanted from 'santa' i said- BeastWars Toys! i cant remember who i wanted. as far as mom could tell she just got whatever. unless i did asked..i think i might have. anyways. christmas day.....i got Megatron! and Optimus Primal! and a surpirse....SCORPINOK!!! i was happy as heck! those were my first beastwars toys and i was friggin' hooked!!
years later after beastwars ended and the filler 'ROBOTS INDISGUISE' came out. the cartoon wasnt very good. but i watched. i got the prowl figure and...damn he was a hard thing to transform. i collected the repaints of the combaticons and maybe a few other toys.
i remember christmas morning i held this long huge box. i wondered what it was. and as i ripped open the wraping paper....BAM! Optimus Prime the red fire truck!
=OwO= - i never known a prime that was a vehecle. and he was soooo cool. the chrome chest plate, the blue shiny paint on his head...that neat chrome yellow eyes. he is my favorite prime even today he holds up something speical. ^w^ i thanked my mom of course.
now...whats your TF Christmas Memories Of ChildHood?

I have an embarrassing picture of me holding the set somewhere; I've been meaning to post it. I say it's embarrassing cuz I've got droopy long-johns in the picture and a huge bowl-cut hairdo!

Sets the way back machine to the day after Christmas 1985..
I had received around $400 in Christmas cash and asked my grandmother to bring me to Kmart for the after Christmas sales..
They had TF's on sale and to this day I remember picking up
I picked up
Metroplex
Omega Supreme
Hoist
Grapple
Red Alert
Tracks
Inferno
Astrotrain
Blitzwing
Skids
Perceptor
Warpath
Beachcomber
Seaspray
And because they were still on sale I still had some $$ left over.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

The list:
Omega Supreme
Devastator gift pack
Ironhide
Ratchet
Mirage
Hoist
Grapple
Prowl
Smokescreen
Red Alert
Jazz
Tracks
Wheeljack
Skywarp
Bumblebee
Gears
Cliffjumper
Seaspray
Beachcomber
Powerglide
Needless to say, I was a very lucky boy. It is possible some of these were birthday gifts, or that I am combining two Christmases. They kind of lump together into one memory. Wish I had pics. I do remember another Christmas when I received Ultra Magnus and Blurr. Funny enough, I never owned Prime, Megatron, Starscream or Soundwave.

Weapon: tea cup."
I remember subsequent Christmases when I knew I was getting Metroplex and the next year Scorponok. I was so excited I couldn't eat my breakfast!
I'm going to feel very childish again this year cos I know that my parents have bought me a transformer!

A lot more recent than some of these, but a memory that sticks out no less... I was like 20, a time when there were no big TFs under the tree for me anymore, maybe a scout or deluxe, but never anything big, I could always get them on my own. Kicking around this site and others while the proto pics of Unicron were surfacing I had been so stoked about the figure, and due to my relative distance from anything I'd call civilization, thought there was no way in hell I'd ever get one. That year there was a huge box under the tree for me, massive! I opened that sucker up and there he was, the big bad, the planet eater. It was a good christmas.

Santa brought me Hound, Thundercracker, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Huffer, Brawn, Skyfire, and Bonecrusher, maybe a few others, but I know those for sure.
Grandma got me Pepsi Prime that she won in the raffle at Woolworths.
Got a ton of GIJoes too, I remember that my dad yelled at me when he found Ace and the seat from the Sky Striker with the parachute attached stuck around the star on the top of our Christmas tree
