With so many upgrades I'm starting to wonder: wouldn't it be better for them to do the whole figure instead? I mean, with a few more upgrades and you'll just see upgrades instead of the original figure .

I don't know, I'd kinda like to see them sculpting new pieces for the individual Constructicons, maybe more cartoon-accurate heads. I don't think there's much more they can do for G1 Devastator.

Instead of coming out with all of these add-ons, why not just make a new Devastator? It would be a lot better than having to keep buying new parts.

I love everthing about these Devestator add-ons. I just put in the "ship my loot" feature from BBTS .... soon it'll be time to see how well the work with KO "Easter Devestator".
They could have made them better. Swivels in the ankles ... a better head (even if it's an improvement over G1; maybe it's better in-person). New hands are the icing on the cake. I just hope BB isn't some lame "extra". Some of us don't need a poorly sculpted version of BB taking up space in our collections.
