Hasbro can't be re-doing Generation One every 4 years. This is as good as it gets, and let's be thankful we're even getting toys for a video game...
Why should we be 'thankful'?
Probably because Hasbro didn't have to bring this line back to us.
Yeah, that's true, but Hasbro is a toy company that is making toys. We don't really have to be thankful for anything. Before I get blasted for saying that, I understand what you mean Blurrz, and I understand the whole buisness, but you all do know that we don't really need to thank HAsbro for anything, right?
I'm not Hasbro-bashing. I'm just saying that Hasbro needs us to purchase their wares more than we need to purchase their wares. I'm talking need here, not 'need' as in 'we need the "plastic crack..."' ok?
Hasbro isn''t the Grand Inquisitor, we don't need to be thankful for anything they 'give' us, becuase they don't give us anything, we exchange our money for their product.
Ok, Ok, sorry for that, just wanted to say. It seems like we've been getting hounded somewhat for not vapidly applauding things around here, to me at least.
That being said, I like the way this toy looks, but I also agree with Mr. Optimus Prime...it seems like it's lacking character to me. I liked the WWI designs, and this line seems like as much of a WWI line as we're going to get, and I'm ok with that, but this doesn't look like it has whatever WWI Prime had that appealed to me. Note that I said "me," as I'm only speaking for me, and I don't know what it was about WWI Prime, but it had something.
To Mr. Optimus Prime: maybe it's that this isn't "new", since we have the WWI designs? I don't know, just a thought.
