Yeah, my Animated Arcee's thumb is really loose, and its been like this for a while now. It wont hold the swords and im afraid that it might break off and I'd loose it...for ever. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it?

Yep, got the same problem. I think I'm going to try some plastic cement; either that or 5-minute epoxy.

Re: Broken Animated Arcee
I use something called the Last Glue http://www.thelastglue.com/ for these sorta things.
However, that's one really small peice. Even after gluing, I don't think I'd ever put swords in those hands.
Geez ... I gotta be careful. My Arcee has some stress marks already.

If there is room - Pinvice it! Get a hobby drill and drill two matching holes in either end of the break, then using a clipping from a paper-clip or something similar, glue the parts together using the rod as a stabliser. It does wonders for the strength of the join.

Accidentally.

Even after you find a way to fix/epoxy the thumbs, it might be a good idea to see if you can sand down the swords a little bit so they slide in easier/safer into her hands... although someone mentioned in the TFA Arcee thread about the stress marks (CP maybe? one of the veterans on this site) that part of the prob might also be the pegs her hands attach to when she's transformed into vehicle mode as well, causing stress on her thumbs?

Yeah, that's my guess as well. The cracks didn't appear until I transformed Arcee. Since her swords are loose now, I really don't want to sand them or her hands, but I might try sanding down those pegs.
I gotta say, I'm really unhappy with this. I paid a lot of money for a Takara Arcee; for the design/QC of a toy that saw this many delays to be so poor does not speak well of Hasbro or Takara/Tomy.

Re: Broken Animated Arcee
Yeah, seriously. It's a pretty bad design flaw when the thumbs pop off. The open hands look nice, but I'd have MUCH prefferred the 'ol hole-in-a-fist to having her look like she welched on a bet!
My own Arcee's hands haven't had her thumbs snap off yet, but I see stress marks and I'm being VERY careful. I pity any kids who've bought her because they probably broke her on their first day.
Edit: Hey, 3rd party people! If you're reading this get a clue and make some replacement Arcee hands! A G1-inspired head would be nice, but let's have a new set of hands!
