Our Japanese friend - Alfes2010 has just updated his blog with the out of the box toy images of Takara version Transformers Animated Elite Guard Commander - Ultra Magnus.
Notoble differences in term of paint work compared to Hasbro version (
http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... gnus/1586/) are the colour choice for the vehicle front cab and metallic paint application.

As much as I like the TTomy version, I still prefer the Hasbro version since it's more accurate to the cartoon. TTomy gotta stop with the metallic/ glossy paint obsession.

I can't believe I never picked up Hasbro's UM or RB UM. I like Takara's version but it's like twice the price on BBTS!
