I think in the wake of the Hasbro fiasco and they're failure to give us RTS and Generations figs, the 3rd Party world still manages to give us the fans some relief. Weather it was a really cool add-on/upgrade kit or a whole figure possibly paying homage to an original G1 the majority of these 3rd Party manufacturers have delivered top notch products.

So which 3rd Party items made it to your collection and which ones are coming soon to your collection? Its too bad there isn't a better relationship between HasTak and the 3rd Party guys but I guess you can't have good without the bad.

Those were the Gear of War set 2 by TFC toys. It did look really cool but I missed out....how is that set? I did get the first Gear of War set and I know it wasn't well received by fans. But I thought it was cool especially the drill bit for Inferno and the really cool cassette drone for Soundwave...'nuff said!

I like the look of a lot of the 3rd party stuff. Unfortunately I'd not gotten into buying them (or any TFs) until recently, after a bit of a money-related hiatus. There's also the issue I have with having to pre-order every damn thing nowadays, and have no money and no product for months on end. That said, I have got:

Protector and Sidearm - really cool robot mode, the vehicle loses something, what with my bright red Challenge at Cybertron Hot Rod in it, but the gun emplacement and tank modes are pretty cool too. Sidearm is an awesome little guy and a decent gun too, especially for the price, I'd buy more of those.

Pre-ordered/waiting on delivery:
iGear's Generations Kup Head - will almost certainly be using the cygar one, but the normal, proper Kup head is pretty cool too.
HeadRobots Voyager Bludgeon head and swords - I like the options it'll give me, and the swords will be good for posing him with too.

I really like the look of the Fans Project Bruticus, but couldn't get the rest of the bots, so didn't order those, not such a fan of the repaints, but liking the look of their Insecticons, so I might have to spring for them. The Perfect Effect non-Cassetticons are nice too, but a little small for the money, or else I'd have had some of them by now.

I have that set as well. I never lit the weapons up but the batteries drained on me anyways.
