DotM Jetwing Optimus: Galaxy Convoy ripoff?

I don't have photos of each, but if you've seen them, you know what I'm talking about. As soon as I saw Jetwing Optimus's photos, I immediately looked at my Galaxy Convoy. Though from different continuities and detailed differently, they're basically the same design. Wings on the back, 2 big ass cannons under the arms. The only thing Jetwing Prime doesn't have that Galaxy Convoy does is the rest of his trailer attaching to his body. Of course, the jetpack is not actually part of Prime's trailer, just inside it.

One thing: they're both by TakaraTomy, so it's not rip-off

Sure, they're similar, but how is that a "rip-off"? I don't think that word means what you think it means.

They're similar, I guess. But Primes have always stood on a good tradition of being similar.

That's like bit like saying Bumblebee+boosters=Nitro Bumblebee is a ripoff of Animated Bumblebee, isn't it?
