I went to TRU yesterday and they only had one MP Rodimus left. It looked like the tape on the top back and top left (as you're looking at it) had been opened but since the next closest TRU is like 45 minutes away and there didn't look to be anything missing I decided to pick it up anyway. I tried wedging my hand into the box as far as it could go after removing just those pieces of tape and I can't seem to reach anything and the only thing that seems out of place is the head which is pushed back out of the plastic revealing the second face (you can kind of see it in the picture).

Does anyone see anything askew here?

It seems everything is in place, though if I were you I'd double check Offshoot. Looks like the rope around him has been loosened, maybe he's been replaced. Other than that, everything seems fine.

Yea I noticed the cord around Offshoot. It's not tied in the back like it is around everything else but he's still jammed in the plastic pretty tightly and he looks exactly like the one on the back of the box. The only markings I can find on him is an "L" on the back of each of his legs and an "L1" and "R1" on the insides of his thighs.

I guess mine has two left legs :/

Edit: Now that he's out of the box he definitely has two left legs. Maybe someone did replace him. Does anyone else have an Offshoot with two left feet?

I think the L stands for "legs." I'd check mine to make sure, but it's on the shelf in Roddy's hand in gun mode, and it's a bitch to get him to stay in his hand so I don't want to remove him. But if his thighs are marked as they should be, then I think the legs are fine as well.

No it definitely means left. See how the "bump" at the bottom of the leg is on the same side on both feet? In all the pictures I can find online they are both on the inside of his legs.

Also, I read a post on another board saying he comes with two Matrix of Leadership. Mine only appears to have 1 but I don't see a spot in the plastic where a second one should be....

Throw stuff at them, get an exchange. Yes, he is supposed to come with a 2nd matrix, all versions have it... The 2nd one is in the chest of rodimus. Did u check if its in there? or did the guy who returned this steal that matrix too? Either way, you really should get an exchange just for that offshoot

The second one will be inside his chest. Its the micro sized one that came with the Takara version. Hasbro was nice enough to actually give us a Matrix that he can actually hold. ..............Oops, looks like someone answered that before I hit the submit button haha!

if the L is on the back of both thighs, there is no way they are the same part. if there was an L on the front of one leg and the back of another leg, they would be the same part. Ya dig?

I have no idea what youre saying but they are definitely the same part. The L is in the hollow of the black lower leg piece. If you look at the picture I posted you can see that the bump on the bottom of the left leg (as youre looking at it) is on the outside when it should be on the inside.

Yea Im going to try to exchange it but all the TRU within an hour of me are sold out. The second matrix is probably still in his chest, I didnt bother to check. I dont think it was returned it looms more like they just swapped them in the store. TRU has terrible security coverage.

ohhhh i see. i thought you were referring to the thigh pieces. aside from the L it is obvious upon closer inspection that the bottoms of the feet are slanted in the same direction.

I checked my Offshoot figure and the legs are marked with either an L or an R, so yeah - looks like you have two left legs either by factory error or someone swapped it.
