How awesome is the G2 GDO Megatron? He has swords to fight with Laser Optimus with!! I think that we should see tons of pics of them fighting.

The fighting poses might be cool, but I always hated that mold. I had RoTF Bludgeon, but I practically gave it away. For me, it might be a good collection filler in tank mode, but the robot mode sucks.

That, sir, is sacrilege. :-x But seriously the best way to enjoy this mould would be to grab yourself some Banzai-Tron love. I think that the whole colour scheme suits the mould best and at least the swords are painted. That Megatron should never have been allowed off the drawing board, it is utterly awful!

Im curious, What is the origin if these samuraicons? What made them decide to adopt the native armor of the race of people that they want to crush and enslave?

Who knows, man. Bludgeon's pretender shell was supposed to be a monster, much like the other second wave Decepticon pretenders, Octopunch and Stranglehold. Rumour has it that Stranglehold was swapped with Longtooth last minute, otherwise there would have been 3 'human' pretenders for the Autobots and 3 monster pretenders for the Deceps. Longtooth stands out amongst the Autobot preternders as being the only non-human looking one.

Basically I just think they assumed a skeletal samurai warrior would look badass. Then the whole 'master of metallikato' thing was put into Bludgeon's tech spec, which Simon Furman used to great effect in his stories.
