Also, unless season 2 has the Rescue Bots get those Energize power ups, I'll probably skip those. I may get that Chase, though, since he's more show-accurate with that blue, now.

Soundwave: Is it wrong that I'm more interested in Ravage than Soundwave? And again, the weapons. Nice to see some more definition added to Soundwave's arms. Looks like he has his old elbows AND new fold-out forearms. Too much clutter on the aircraft though.


Wheeljack just looks so much more at home with WEAPON OF EPIC (Self)DESTRUCTION than with his swords. Xueiuos about the hings in the white disk thingy. And we knew about the molded battlemask, maybe I can go and repaint my old one into Marlboor then, I'm also perplexed by "are his shoulders mistransformed (shuld be turned bak 90% to open his forearms) or are they trapped by the red wing things and unable to move? We'll see. I do like him, though.

Beast Prime: New one. Kinda confirms one of my questions about the season 2 spoiler though, as to whether that sparking hand was a decoy or attached to something. Curious to see what it looks like.

Rather have the larger Predaking than the Voyager, me thinks. Preddy just NEEDs to be huge, even if he isn't the combiner. Gonna have a field day with my Botcon Razorclaw.

I couldn't agree more. I'm not a fan of adding too many bells and whistles to old molds, like the Mech Tech line. Bumblebee, Wheeljack and, to a lesser extent, Soundwave look worse to me loaded up with weapons. Tough to be a "Robot in Disguise" with 50 missiles hanging off your Camaro.

I'll pick up the big version of Predaking, but nothing else I've seen so far. I'd rather we got regular molds of Smokescreen, Breakdown, Hardshell, Vehicon Jet and Unicron in the U.S. and any new characters they add to Season 3.

Beast Hunters look like crap. The ones that are actually beasts might be cool, but the ones based on existing Prime molds look awful.

But what about the Kreon Combiners? I was pleasantly surprised to see they're only $10 each from BBTS! That's a great price. I'd preorder all four right now, but I've already spent too much on TFs this month. I might just wait for retail.

Tough to be a "Robot in Disguise" when there's a giant honkin' Decepticon fortress in the middle of Nevada with an endless army bent on invading the world inside. I think the whole "in disguise" thing went out the window when New Kaon arrived.

I think the "in disguise" thing went out the window in G1, when they were "disguising" themselves as things like robot dinosaurs, a flying saucer, a two-headed man, or a giant skeleton samurai with a tank inside it.

While not the same aesthetic, I bet these new BH retools would go great with DotM Megatron and the (weaponized) Wreckers.

Pre-ordered the Kreon Combiners. $10 each ain't bad (I thought they'd be $12 like the Barricade and Cliffjumper sets), especially since BBTS often seems to jack up prices on certain items...

The main reason I'm interested in the new Bumblebee is because he reminds me of Cheetor. If they repaint him with blue instead of silver I'm going to break and buy him
