Ultra Classic
So who will be the ultra size character for the classic line? So far all of the character in the line have looked reasonably well together scale wise, so whom ever they choose to make i would imagine is gonna be one of the larger characters (bigger than jetfire) so who warren ts such attention? Who is icon enough to get that slot?
Metroplex????? Omega S???? Trypticon??????
Another thought i had was that maybe the unique (non white prime) UltraMagnus would fit that slot, if he had his trailer then he would possible fit that size toy category, he is iconic, and with all the classic cars (plus the bros from 2.0) he would look amazing loaded up.

Seibs has said that there probably won't be both Voyagers and Ultras in the line and that Octane would end up in that scale (prefer a deluxe to match up with Astrotrain but what the hey). Add in Magnus and Galvatron and thats probably the Ultra figures. If they have a second success on the scale of Classics V1 then whos to say that we won't see a further extension of the line in 2009 and characters like Omega being done properly at a Supreme price point (see what I did there?).

Well if they are putting in Galvatron as the con leader (and i really hope they are) then they need a comparable bot to fight em, and since we already have a Hotrod in the classics AND Hasbro have promised us a unique Magnus maybe, it is time for him.
Although i still wouldnt be opposed to a Classic style metroplex at some point.
Oh or how about Classic Scorpionoc? Hasbro need to remind the world that scorpinoc was once a leader, and not just an action master attack dog like the movie version (the only movie toy i am pissed about)

How would people feel about Scorponok as a recolour/remould of the Energon version? Not saying that I wouldn't like to see a new version, just that if we were to get him that may be the route that Hasbro would go.

It was good, but they would have to loose the tracks and get insect legs instead, there have already been a printing of that mold twice in 2 years, no way ill but it a third time

one of the citys metroplex or trypticon is the only one that I can think of that would warrent that size. I think the others could be leader class figures. I would want them to do a supereme class scorpinox and fortress maximus as head masters.

I would really dig Scorpy and Fort Max since I never was able to get the originals back in the day. Those two were serious bad@$$es when they first came out in the comics, so I'd love to see justice done to them as Headmasters.

I can almost guarantee you that the original Ultra Magnus mold is in Animated. David Kaye let it slip that Magnus is in the show. So it would be very unlikely that he'll be in Classics b/c of Hasbros stance on having the same character in both lines at the same time.
I would like to see some city bots. Aaron said a base-former was on the way. I'm betting on Metroplex. Why him? B/c while all 4 base bots have been repainted before, only 1 has been repainted as the opposite faction. Would be a cheap way for both sides to get a city bot out of 1 mold.

What is the "Ultra" size? All I know is:
Scout
Deluxe
Voyager
Leader
Supreme
Where does Ultra fit in?
Will there be more deluxe and Voyager sized Classics too? It would suck if Poor Voyager Prime had to face against a much taller Galvatron.

Hasbro SHOULD do Sixshot! And then they could slightly remold and add a new paint deco...Classics Quickswitch.

Curse you GrimSqueker. You got my hopes up!
If we got a working SixShot to go with our Ultra Magnus and Galvatron, I really would be ready to die happy.
Plus it would really confirm Classics as the ultimate line to ever be released.
Who here really doesn't want to buy Classics? And why? Pardon me, but are you mental?

Why are people wanting City bots in the ultra class? Ultra would go to someone like Omega Supreme who is big but not the giants city formerers are. I think the City formers need to be supreme if they are released at all. Not to many that I would put in the Ultra or leader class range if were trying to keep classics in some sort of respectable scale.
Omega Supreme and Skylinx maybe an ultra. Sixshot would work too. But I don't think they should be bigger than any gestalts that appear in the line. Constructicon Maximus (who is standing in because I won't buy repaints) looks great with the rest of the classics. Good scaling and similar sort of detailing. A gestalt made of a voyager and 5 deluxes would be better but what can you do?
