Hi All - I just picked up a nice G2 Optimus (G1 mold) this weekend. He was cheap and in great shape, but missing the fists, gun, and missile launchers. Anyway, I have many incarnations of this mold as it's one of my favorites and I want to display this one holding the two missile launchers which I've since purchased on ebay and am awaiting the arrival of.
I still need to purchase some fists which is a little daunting considering this incarnation came in two color variants. My question is, aside from color, are the G2 fists the same as the G1 fists? If I dont get actual G2 fists but get G1 fists will the missile launchers still fit?

On a side note I find the voice on the sound effects backpack very interesting. Whenever I push that button and hear "I am Optimus Prime" I envision a man in a loin cloth with a sword....funny.

They're completely identical, as far as I know. It's 5mm port/peg o. Both sides, so it shouldn't be any trouble for ya.
