While I understand the business decision behind this, I really wish Hasbro would focus on other characters instead of giving us Bumblebee and Optimus again and again. How about the rest of the minibots?

Bumblebee doesn't look too bad (Robot mode reminds me a lot of the WFC deluxe figure) though Optimus bugs me, I think it's just how you can see he damn head in vehicle mode (Even TFP has his head tucked in the back of the cab out of sight)

Also are these legion or commander class?

Optimus's head folds down a lot more, revealing a convenient hole for that gun to sit in.

Personally I'm excited about these, they're IDW Comics versions of the characters who will be in scale with the Titan Class Metroplex. This, to me, is awesome. Do I wish they'd make bigger ones, like a voyager of IDW Prime? Sure, but one cannot deny the awesome of this.

I think that there commander seeing that they can bend at the elbows.

These are kinda cool looking, not gonna lie. If I pick up Metroplex, these might have to be bought as well.

These would be worthless without the little minicons companions.

Judging by their articulation, and by the size of the minicon guys, I'm thinking these guys are going to be as big as Cyberverse Commanders.

I'll buy them. Maybe this is a test of a possible new line? Imagine a whole line of Classics-verse figures, all with minicons, Targetmasters, whatever, for about $10 each!

I've said it before and ill say it again. Bee looks fantastic, while Prime is INCREDIBLY disappointing.

Also, I'd be ALL OVER a Hot Shot/ jolt repaint if it had a new head. Loves me some UT characters.

probably not gonna get these. i already have legends prime and bee from classics and they will scale just fine with metroplex.

I think they mean to say it's the 3rd wave of this year's Generations line, not the 3rd wave of Generations Legends. ??? I'm not sure.

Most retailers don't reset the wave count after sub-line imprints, which the 30th Anniversary is for this iteration of Generations. So the first wave of the 30th Anniversary is the third in total. In list form:

Wave 1 (Series 1 Wave 1):
- Rumble & Ravage
- Ratbat & Frenzy

Wave 2 (Series 1 Wave 2):
- Eject & Ramhorn
- Rewind & Sunder

Wave 3 (Series 2 Wave 1):
- Optimus Prime & Roller
- Bumblebee & Blazemaster

No way am I paying almost $17 for a legends class figure w/ shipping. I will wait for retail...
