(This thread was inspired by the Sandstorm thread.)
The only figure I can think of with tank AND jet mode is Six Shot. They could do a sweet homage in Six Shot's colors, but I can't think of any other ideas for a Blitzy repaint.
Any other ideas? Let's get creative!
Maybe it doesn't have to be a figure with tank and jet mode, but something that captures the same idea as the land/air combination, like a Tigerhawk homage (tank and jet instead of tiger/hawk).

And I can't remember which one it was, either Blitzwing or the new Springer, but someone posted pictures on Facebook of the toy in fan-made modes resembling Sixshot's alt-modes so close that they kinda looked like a test shot in funky colours.
Cool idea, also nice to see that I made it into someone's sig again.

I'm hoping for Flywheels. I don't think the toy is good enough for Overlord, really. I'm also hoping for a third version of the Springer/Sandstorm mold, using parts from each (Springer's copter transformation, but some of the remolded car parts, especially that front bumper) as Battletrap.

Octane was a jet and a truck. Any Blitzwing repaint would be a jet and a military tank.

Overcharge (obvious redeco is obvious, perhaps its being saved for ehobby though)
Slamdance (red tank parts, blue jet parts, new head, I can see it working)
Bludgeon (he was sporting a winged tank mode in Spotlight Thundercracker)
Flywheels (idw did make a triple changer of him, and this would give hasbro an excuse to reuse Springer once again as Battletrap)
Gutcruncher(his action master toy sports hints of a lost tank mode and he came with a jet)
Reverse Convoy (retools the head into a Prime-esque helmet, switch the faces into Optimus and Megatron, yeah I know the Robot Masters toy didn't have a jet mode, but whose to say the guy can"t upgrade himself
please stop suggesting Overlord, he deserves his own mold

So did Drag Strip, Motormaster, and FoC Sideswipe. Look what happened to them.
Hasbro's hardly likely to waste their money making an entirely new mold when they can save money and repaint one of their existing molds instead. If you have such a problem with the concept, then try thinking about an extensive retool, which we know from recent events that HasTak is great at doing.
