First of all hello everybody, I just registered to the forums.

just to get things out of the way, i'm not a collector (aside from a couple masterpiece toys)
I'm more interested in the IDW comics than the objects generally speaking

So of recent i've been looking around for tf lore and found this on the tf wiki:
"A Slag toy can be seen in the recreation of the Scottish artist Sir Eduardo Paolozzi's studio at the Scottish Dean Gallery This makes him the second Dinobot to have a toy in a museum"

I always loved that toy, ever since his first appearance in marcel comics. You know when ratchet finds him in a tar pit.

I checked on youtube some reviews of the old toy, and found out there are different colour versions of slag, (cartoon colour scheme correct) and a canadian version with a white head... and there are 3 different colour g2 slags.

First of all, how hard is it to find a G1 slag (cartoon colour scheme correct) and how much is it worth?

Secondly; how do you get information from tomy takara (is learning japanese the only option?) about masterpiece tf's? Is there any news on whats upcoming after soundblaster/wheeljack in march?

Well thanks in advance for any answers on the above, and generally about slag.

You'll often see G1 Slag at conventions and flea markets, as well as eBay. A 100% complete figure usually runs about $50-$60, but you can get one cheaper if you don't mind if it's missing some accessories. (And you can get new stickers from Reprolabels for like $5 or $6.)

As for information about upcoming MP figures... just bookmark this website! Any breaking news will be featured here.

If you are looking for the G1 version, just be patient. Be careful of K.O.s if you shop at ebay though I got one, an original from UK (Grimlock that is) loose and tight though incomplete so I count that as a blessing. You can replace "Grimlock" with Slag and start the process.

The way we find out about MP news is when TakaraTomy tells us publically. We don't contact them, they contact the public.

And we know of no MPs to come after Wheeljack, Bumble, Lambor G2 Version, and Soundblaster.
