It looks as though Tailgate may find himself in the Kreon universe. When signing up for Hasbro's Kre-O Nation members are asked to create a username using three fields, a descriptor, a Transformer character name, and a number. All of the Transformers characters listed in the second field have Kreons with the exception of one, Tailgate. Given his popularity thanks to his role in IDW Publishing's Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye comic series it seems likely a Tailgate will receive the Kreon treatment as some point in the future.

This almost makes me wish I cared about Kreons. I always liked Tailgate for some reason, long before I actually saw him do anything. Maybe it's just that I happened to get his toy shortly before Windcharger. 2 decades later, when I found it had yellowed, I dyed him into a lovely Wipe-Out (though his black got tinged red instead of blue).

Say, could this mean a Kreon of Trypticon's Marvelous lube expert as well? If they did a whole build Decepticon city playset, that'd be the perfect pack-in.

Kreon versions of the MTMTE cast, make it happen Hasbro!

... ah, but I suppose any other upcoming Kreons (besides the ones we're already aware of) will probably be based on Movieverse bots. Now I know how that feels.

It's probably be a direct repaint of the Windcharger kreon from the Mech Venom set. At the very least they'll use the same build like they did for the Vehicon and Arcee.
