what "Beast" do you want to see?
Beast such as Predacons or Maximals have long been my favorite transformers. So I was pretty happy to see that there are more beast-bots in the toy section of some stores around here,at least there was a few awhile ago, last time I went out I didn't see any, it could just have been the store I went to that day. I'm just curious what kind of animals/insects/fish or other creatures that people would like to see as a Transformers toy. It seems like there's quite a few dragons or dragon like beast out right now. personally I want to see something like a hammerhead Sharkticon... at least, I don't think there's anything like that right now.

Re: what "Beast" do you want to see?
Beast Machines did a hammerhead type, and there was a Fuzor with hammerhead/bird parts in Beast Wars before that. Japan's various BW series covered most of the more outlandish ideas I can think of that I'd like to see. Maybe a parrot TF that turned into a pirate-y robot? Oh, and a kangaroo! It could be a retool of Classics Dinobot?

Well, besides Leo Convoy or a new variant of Red Dragon - Double Megatron, or Transmetal 2 Megatron, something new like these two below.
Though if they did remake TM-2 Meg's, I would add heavy influences or suggestions of G1 Meg's, in the dragon.

...Or maybe Megatron X, ['cause in the 90's it wasn't cool unless it had an "X" in the name or said "Xtreme" in something. ...So, there was a character named X-Man in Marvel Comics, wouldn't that suggest he was, an ex-man, like a...er, gender modified individual...]

I'd like to see another try at a snake, to see if something can be done better than Cohrada or Night Viper.

The Beast Machines Hammerstrike figure that craggy mentioned was repurposed into a new breed of Sharkticon back in the old BotCon Wreckers comes.

I know there are already some Beast Wars era Bear-formers, I'd love to see some more.
I've also doodled around with the idea of a Cerberus-styled wolf for beast mode. Still trying to iron-out how the transformation would work, but a 3-headed wolf would be awesome.

G2 was a huge improvement & amazing to many, including to me, Beast Wars too, we've come so far now, looking at this guy, [Beast Wars 2 or Neo if I remember right], I know if they made him today, he'd be better. [Unless this is a newer legion, cyberverse, or other micro figure, then this is actually up to date

It's encouraging, seeing how far the figure quality keeps progressing. We started out with repacked toys from the late 70's, produced more by '85, continuing in Japan in to the 90's.

There was no shortage of rodents in Beast anything, but your right about dear and elk, as we only came as close as a Ram in the TM2 line.

Okay, Saber, it's starting to feel like trolling. Though, I'm sure your not.
You're corrections are unnecessary & frivolous. Also, you've missed some things, & your constant correcting me in our fun/nerdy arguments are beginning to tax my nerves

You're like my best friend, [whose a "brony"], a very well educated, knowledgeable, compassionate, and cool, [a great man - and human being], yet, annoyingly given to missing some things, and correcting other things that don't need correcting.
In context of my statement, about witnessing how far Transformers have come, by looking at this great example from '2nd, comparing it to the past toys, [G2], & today's toys, my statement was NOT off topic. I was commenting on how this BW2 or "Beast Wars Second" figure, was cool at original release, a full decade ago. Yet it looks dated today. [Look at the waist/hip ball joints]. The product has advanced since. Considering this figure is still cool, that says a lot of positive things.
By the way, BW2 is an acronym, while Beast-2 & Beast Wars 2 are shorthand for "Beast Wars Second (2nd)". [ Of course the 2 or three websites, {arguably minor now}, that used such shorthand/acronyms, sadly, are long extinct.

As for "Diaclone", I was making an inside joke & at the same time commenting about the 70's myth, which you, as an insider should've picked up on,

Some Microchange-derived toys have the text "©1974 TAKARA" stamped on them, and as a result are occasionally sold on eBay with descriptions such as "original 1974 Ravage". However, the date 1974 refers to the introduction of the original Microman franchise due to the way Japanese IP law worked at the time; the first Microchange toys weren't even designed until the early 1980s.
I look at what Hasbro/Takara did by repackaging all these toys, just as legal conditions were "optimal"

Take this as both a compliment, [by comparing you to my true friend], & as a rebuke from a friend...
"...is better than the compliment of a fool." ...WAIT!

I'd like to see more organic beasts in general. We get a lot of vehicles that are believable "disguise" modes, but almost no beast modes that could pass for the real deal.

It's cool Sabr', as for Lio, I've been corrected in the past before. I do have to ask about that spelling, Lio, instead of Leo; please tell me that is how "Leo" [the lion] is spelled in another country, & not just good old Japanese engrish?

Ah, it's just a shortening of the English word "Lion" that the Japanese went with. They just dropped the "n" and stuck a "Convoy" on the end.Tronus_Rex wrote:It's cool Sabr', as for Lio, I've been corrected in the past before. The way one can tell is how, in both the cartoon and the Japanese spelling of his name ライオコンボイ ("Raio Konboi"), the "Lio" part is written/spoken as "Raio" ("ai" sounding like "I" or "eye").
However, when Takara released the Prime Arms Micron Leo Prime toy last year, they went with the "Leo" spelling this time since his name was now written as レオプライム "Reo Puraimu" ("Reo" sounding like "Rayo", but the same thing happened with Victory Leo back in TF: Victory, so it's just their approximation of trying to say "Leo" in this case).

Not to be too nitpicky, but that's not a Beast Wars figure at all. It's from Transformers: Cybertron as I recall.
Anyway, I'll take all the beasts they create, especially if they're done Beast Wars style (the TF:Prime Predacons are pretty cool, but not quite realistic/beasty enough for me to lump them in with Beast Wars).
A proper Beast Wars style raven would be cool (yes, I know all about Rav/Chro, but that thing has no bot mode).
I'd also like a proper bull. They never did one and the closest we got was that one Beast Machines figure. Of course Dairycon would be all over that if they did one

However, it was designed to be a Maximal in the Beast Machines: Battle for the Spark line, with the flip up chest panel being where an aborted spark-crystal-activated gimmick would have been placed.xyl360 wrote:Arctorro wrote:R.I.D.
Of course Dairycon would be all over that if they did one.
Ah, there ya go. See, still not Beast Wars though
