Could the transformers pierce the borg shields? What if even just one transformer is assimilated? What if cybertron itself is assimilated? What if hot female seekers are assimilated?

Depends: are we talking TNG Borg or lame Voyager Borg?

The TFs take down Voyager Borg, no question.

The Borg as originally presented could probably assimilate the TFs one by one and gradually enlarge their army while becoming immune to more and more attacks.

The borg do have numerical superiority.
However, a Transformer could dispatch several Borg at once with ease
But, if the Borg could assimilate a TF or two, they could fit it with their energy shields. and them assimilate other TFs

The Borg fleet could probably devastate Cybertron from orbit regardless of how many cubes are destroyed b/c they would just send in more

I dont think that the TFs could pull this off without using the Matrix or Unicron

I dont think that the TFs could pull this off without using the Matrix or Unicron

The Borg couldn't "add a non organic TF to there collective" but they did attempt just that with Data. Absorbing TF technology would give The borg there victory. Almost any master's tech being assimilated would all but negate Shockwaves efforts.

Should the TF scientisfic minds colaberate before then, A victory is not impossible, though highly improbable after assimilation of all master's tech and a gestalt.

Also, which continuity of G1 TFs are we using? The more fanwanked the better the odds so i'm guessing DW.

The Borg are however able to assimilate or at least takeover starships and their systems. Data was special in that his programming is highly advanced. And because of that I withdraw my statement about Assimilating TFs as i realize it is not possible.

I still believe that a massive strike with hundreds if not thousands of cubes and other vessels could possibly win this for the Borg

I think we both agree on the assimilation of TF technology OptimusN1701, but then the question of TFs learning from Borg tech creeps up for me.

I'm very reluctant to simple give it to one or the other by sheer numbers. There is always the Cybertronian empire to think of in that regard, so lets not make it a numbers fight.



As you may have gathered from my first post, I can see it go either way. If the enterprise can take out the borg queen why couldn't a combined effort from the TF forces?

If pressed, I would likely favor the Borg, or the writter's favored franchise, to win.
