But aren't tomato stains hard to get out? they could be strong bases on the PH scale too... I've heard of people allergic to tomatoes but never (though still possible) potatoes...
I like fries more than i like ketchup
Fried tomatoes are on average healthier than fried potatoes. Or at least when my mom made them.
If planted next to each other a potato would take root into the soil long before the tomato seeds would thus dominating the garden.
