Green Lantern Alan Scott can't affect wood (Pinocchio) with his powers. Pinocchio needs to sneak up on Scott and stab him with a wooden stake or something like that. Pinocchio is only a boy so Scott is stronger than him, even without powers.
I think that Scott would be very familiar with his weakness against wood. He'd adjust his approach and find a way to stop Pinocchio. Scott wins.
