steve rogers vs fa mulan
both movies (captain america: the first avenger and mulan) had a "climb a top a pole and get the thingee" quest in their respective training sequences, who did it better?

I Think people don't click on this very much, due to the fact that they think your trying to be funny. I read the heading like twenty different times before I decided to click on it. Anyhow, While Mulan was a very well fleshed out movie, with great artwork, and it portrayed it's message very thouroughly, I think Cap wins here, due to the fact that the movie, at least so I hear, Is astonishing, but, all in all, just my common knowledge says cap would win, but since I havn't seen it yet, I digress you with this magic 8 ball answer:

Re: steve rogers vs fa mulan
i was only asking who did a better job in solving a quest that on first glance requires brute strength but actually requires intelligence to solve, not who is the better hero or who had the better movie. mulan used the weights that keep the other participants down to her advantage while steve gets around the drill sergeant's task by unhinging the pole and taking the flag. i'm torn between the two because while steve comes out the smarter of the two (mulan tried the brute strength approach at first while steve comes up with the answer nearly immediately) i think mulan had the better character development at that scene.

While I agree that Mulan had the better "character developement" in that scene, I'm still giving it to Rogers. He didn't really NEED the developement.

from what i can recall on the 90s spider-man cartoon, it was like they picked rogers and got lucky that he had a heart three times bigger than his actual body, at least in the movie it shows that he had the heart and the brains, just lacks the body to serve his country....it would've been awesome if he lifted mjolnir during his little man body

Steve had help from his squad mates, who demonstrated the incorrect method. FM had to do it all herself. It's not a fair comparison. FM was also fighting against powerful sexism, so she was at least as brave as Steve.
