THIS IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT! Onslaught is perfect, I was so disappointed when I thought it was octane, now I absolutely need to get this set.

this thread was a roller coaster, I've never hated and then loved an exclusive in the span of 6-7 posts.

The people predicting Universe Onslaught were right I guess. I know its suppose to be G2 homages and all, but I really wish they'd tone back the colors a bit.

Looks like he's the other guy besides Breakdown getting a retooled head. Unless that image proves to be wrong, that is.

Can somebody post a pick of the supposed Octane/Tankor pic? I missed it and was confused for about 25 posts as the news post had already been edited :sadface.

I'll never quit you Blurrz! Thanks for the links! Is it at all possible that this faux clench will be a different character? Speaking of repaints, there is a twin-cockpit jet, a purple shuttle and several minicons heading straight for the furnace of my mansion. Rosebud style. Look it up!

Sorry, but that's just how I feel about this set so far this year. There's been nothing exciting about it, nothing original, nothing that peeks my interest about it.

I'd go so far to say that it's the most boring an un-exciting BotCon set ever.

Seriously, the Onslaught mold? Where is that alt. mode even close to the original? They could have just used the voyager movie Optimus.

Meh, I'm glad I don't visit Botcons. Their exclusives start to get more like cheap kitbashes.

Missed the conversations about Botcon not wanting/able to use movie molds in what others have said.

I thought that I had heard that anything was available to use for Botcon exclusives, but I had also heard movie was out due to copyrights.

Either way, I cannot see them using a mess of different line molds that are very different. If they are going to use movie molds, or animated molds, I would expect all the molds to be of that type, not a couple. They just would not fit together well as a set.
