Opinions can change yes, and I think you'll find that even though i've said "I don't like" along the way, i've also said that i'll wait until I see the final thing.

Unlike some, I try to keep an open mind and give things a chance and NEVER write anything off completely until i've seen the final product.

If the entire thing is animated in that style it'll be nice to look at. Let's hope the script and story are as good.

Today was the first I've every seen of this (Thanks to my ever wonderful girlfriend <3)

I'm upset that we're getting more bayformers. The designs are vomit inducing. Oh well, last time I hated the designs, the show kicked so much butt. I'll hope this one surprises me the same way.

I'll just still hate the designs. Cept Ratchet. He's boss.

These designs don't scream bayformer to me. Sure, optimus has a similar chest and head, and BB is a straight copy, but other than that, these seem like unique designs. Unlike bayformers, they are quite a bit "chunkier", and no insectoid face (luckily).

Wow, this was good :grin:

I have yet to see the other designs (the Tfw2005 .gif link didn't work) but hopefully they will be just as awesome.
I only hope that the story is good, and that Hasbro shows the espisodes on it's site (for those of us who don't have working Tvs)

this is sad. maybe im one of the only people who thought they were getting it right on the last animated series. just from the look of it the toys will look alot like the recent movies. :SICK:

i will watch but were the ratings really that bad on the last series it was awesome.

It's not a full fledged trailer, it's a teaser that uses a work in progress animation test sequence for its footage.

Simply at face value, I like the prospects for this series more than TFA when I first saw promo information for it. However, I ended up loving TFA once I began to watch it. I hope the opposite doesn't happen with Prime.

The single thing I didn't like was the slowed down transformation sound effect. It just sounds odd to me.

I like BB's design, though I would rather see WFC styled designs for a TF cartoon...perhaps the next one down the road.

I don't like the movie designs, because I don't think they matched their characters. I hate how Bay's movie influence is interfering with Transformers so much, but besides all that, nice computer animation. Too soon to say it's epic.

Animation I can take or leave. What "I" want to see, is some of the writing. The writing, for me, is what makes a show worth loving.

Give me a reason to like the characters, and I will by association, like the toys.

Give me Michael Bay, or Unicron Trilogy, and I will avoid the toys.

I'm a little disappointed that Prime is taking its cue from Michael Bay on Bumblebee's design* rather than getting back to the more human G1-style character most recently seen in War for Cybertron. I also wonder if he will talk. If so, I hope the producers have called Johnny Yong Bosch. Speaking of humans, it will also be interesting to see how they are portrayed in Prime. The less "Clone Wars" the better, IMO.

* Yeah, I also realize that Megatron is a jet and Arcee is a motorcycle. A blue motorcycle at that, which I don't think is an improvement on Bay.
