Are bugs always darker in Japan? Jokes aside, Takara's Autobot Alliance Insection has gotten into the hands of Alfes 2010. With his camera, we see that Takara's Insecticon features darker plastic compared to lighter plastic of his Hasbro brethren. Check it out below!

He looks like a figure that by looking at the images i can easily pass on but in real life he could actually be pretty cool.
I like the Japanese version more but i'd rather it still have the blue wings.

I don't get the appeal...granted, I'm not a big fan of the Insecticons, but this makes the G1 figs look phenomenal.

Well It looks better without the damn blue wings. I want the version which is most movie accurate. Any opinions ??? I dont have time to pull up the movie and keep pressing pause.

This figure disparately needs some shading or "dirt" added to it. As is, it looks like one of those Lego Bionical (or whatever they're called) figures and could almost pass as part of some other toy line.

it would be if they made s color scheme homage to a insecticon or waspinator

I kinda prefer the look of the Hasbro version and I'm looking forward to getting one. Someone else had the idea of a G1 color repaint for this to be used as IDW insecticon horde figures. That would make me buy multiples without even debating it.
