methinks his relevance will be
he was teh old leader of auttobots, they wake him up from being dead/asleep on the moon in the ark, that also wakes up unicron or shockwave, he gives or creates or w/ever the trailer/mechtech and then helps to fight but dies and all are sad

The
Mechtech is 99.999% just a toy gimmick and has absolutely nothing to do with the movie. The
trailer on the other hand might be
made out of Jetfire.My guesses, at least.
