Your plans mirror my own. I do want the ark thingy. But that will be it. I'm almost embarrassed that I have 4 large shelves worth of Movie stuff already. What I have to focus on is buying the ones I ACTUALLY want, and not just slingin' 12 bucks worth of plastic at the register and justifying it with whatever comes to mind. Focus. This year will require focus.

Re: DOTM Cyberverse Legends at Walmart!
Went back to my Walmart today and picked up a handful of the ones they had. Forgot that they also had the white and blue Barricade in this wave as well.
Quick note on the figures, Bumblebee is a brand new mold. I looked at the legends class versions of him here on Seibertron and while he shares some similarities and unless there is a legends version I've not seen, he is different. First off, he has flip down feet instead of just being molded into the back of the car. Also, where the ROTF's legend bumblebee's wheels were at his hands, these are on his shoulders. On the inside of the right panel that forms his arm is molded is hand cannon (even legends class BB can't have 2 hands anymore) while the other has a mounded hand. The chest it molded with he updated that his onscreen character has received, he also sports the spoiler in the back.
Barricade is a slight remould of the '07 legends figure where instead of having 2 juicers for hands, his right hand has been molded as an open claw. Other wise, aside from being white and blue, he is the same mold.
Skidz is just a repaint of the ROTF version.
There there is Topspin and Crankcase which are both new characters. Neither is really that bad.
I can't tell you if Sideswipe was a new mold, just a retool, or what as he was gone. Guess I should have picked him up last night instead of Topspin (or someone saw this and went toy hunting
). But, now my Walmart has 4 BB's, a Skidz and I think a Barricade.
The DOTM Packaging is nice though. You can open the figure up and take him out of the shell while 100% preserving the package. Attached a picture to show it off. Hope the Deluxe figures share the same design. They also come with instruction inserts instead of the instructions just being on the back of the package. I've not bought many legends, so I don't know if they've done that before or not.

Says who?
You need to take a chill pill dude. RtS will come. Heck, new stuff just showed up in my area for the first time since November. We just aren't getting a huge line of stuff from RtS considering we still have shelfwarmers (as you mentioned) with a movie coming up on top of that. They won't sell if they keep shoveling out waves of toys every month, and May 16th will be full of RtS and Generations "crap" that no one wants anymore. Besides, this is probably a fluke. And they're legends for Primus' sake, they don't hog a lot of space. Neither do they sell out well. But I'm sure these'll be gone from that store and we won't get anything out of DOTM until May.
And how do legends steal shelf space from Generations, exactly?
Please note: If you think I may be joking, I probably am.

While there's definitely some over-reaction going on, I Can't say that a little bit of worry isn't entirely unwarranted. Local stores have barely carried Generations or Reveal the Shield (though I've been lucky and found most of the figures by now), so it's been a pretty bad hunt, particularly for the more recent ways.
Now, of course, the big stores will want to make room for all the movie toys and push aside non-movie lines accordingly. If you haven't seen Kup, Scourge, Lugnut, or Grapple yet, there's a pretty good chance that you're not going to at this rate - at least not in your local stores.

Gotta agree with you on that. Grapple, Windcharger and Warpath are certainly worth ordering online (if they're not sold out yet). Once this avalanche is unleashed, it will be ALL DOTM for awhile. Cyberverse, playsets (like the Ark) and HA basics are going to get shelf space along with the standard deluxes, voyagers, leaders, stealth force and whatever else comes up. A classics line will reemerge at some point, but these RTS/GEN lines are on their way out for now.

I've never even seen wave 2 of the voyagers not to mention the later waves of generations figs and RTS figs, I think being a little ticked off at the big chain retailers is warranted considering that ordering them online is always a bit more exspensive. The pending onslaught of movie toys is just going to make getting he gen and rts figs harder. While it's cool that the movie line does have some neat stuff to offer, I feel like they should have gotten the RTS/Gen lines out in full before pushing them off for more movie toys.

Nahh...we'll just get them in April then all the people that want DOTM stuff on May 16th will be greeted by tags that say: Clearance on all Transformers Reveal the Shield and Generations!
Hey, I had to wait weeks for the ROTF NEST shelfwarmers to clear out before the HFTD/Generations/PCC line was released.

More DOTM Cyberverse figures are infiltrating Wal-Mart toy aisles in Florida! Back in March our own Lord Onixprime stumbled across Topspin, Skidz, Bumblebee, Crankcase and Sideswipe at his local Wal-Mart in Florida. Yesterday TFW2005 member Toyzaremine discovered a couple Cyberverse playests, Bumblebee With Mobile Battle Bunker and Starscream Orbital Assault Carrier, also at a Wal-Mart in Florida for $14.95 each. You Seibertronians in Florida might want to take a trip down the toy aisle next time you're in your local Wal-Mart.

If I hadn't just spent most of my money on my friends BW collection, I'd be back to my Walmart to see if they have them as well.
