RTS Rubsign removal/replacement

Hello all,
I recently got the Battle in Space two-pack. However, I'm not a huge fan of rubsigns and am considering peeling them off the figures and replacing them with some decals from reprolabels. I'm just curious if anyone else has done this, and if they are satisfied with the result.
Thanks for the feedback!

This is something I plan on doing with the certain RTS figs I picked up. Funny thing though not long after I bought Tracks and without causing much the rub sign just fell off. I didn't think much of it considering I would eventually do just that. I don't imagine it to be too hard to remove for most if not all RTS figs....'nuff said!

I haven't tried removing them on purpose, but almost all of them came off on their own on all of my RTS legends class just by rubbing them. It shouldn't be that much of a problem removing them.

All of the rubsigns on my RTS figures are crooked, so I can see the appeal. Of cours eit might ruin the resale value.
It's just a sticker. A little GooGone and they're gone, I'd imagine.

It took me less than 5 seconds to take them off of Tracks and Jazz, and no residue. Those things are just barely on there. Regular stickers look way better IMHO. I had some extra bot symbols on hand, and it looks great.

Re: RTS Rubsign removal/replacement
Oh yeah! They definitely look better. I've removed all rub stickers even the older Classics line. Really don't like it especially when not in proper position (like my Windcharger, his is not even in the middle of the chest). Something in mind, when I put the Reprolabels insignia sticker on, I tend to trim the sides so the silver part isn't that big. But depends on your space and figure. Astrotrain for example, I didn't trim anything at all.
By the way, I do keep those rub stickers as well if they are not damaged during removal. Then I can put them on some other places, like my cell phone or laptop.

Thanks for the replies and advice!
So, if I order from reprolabels, any suggestions on which sheet I should buy? I noticed that they sell logos with clear, silver, or gold backings, and I would also like to give a tiny Decepticon logo to both Nightstick figures (RTS and UNI). I'll of course need at least one Autobot symbol for Rodimus, so would some kind of combo sheet be best?
Any help (and pictures) would be greatly appreciated!

What is really sad is that with all the QC issues there are you would think Hasbro could properly apply and allign a simple freakin' decal/rubsign...clearly not. I just got RTS Wreck Gar and it came off nice and easy. At least the rubsigns on the first wave of classics were nice and alligned and they had that cool border like vintage G1's...oh the little things 'nuff said!

Okay, so reviewing some Seibertron galleries (for the Challenge at Cybertron versions) and Reprolabels, I've decided on the following:
Rodimus:
http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... 2151/1/41/
Looks like emulating the CaC look will be best, so I'll buy the decal sheet with clear backings. I really like the look of the red symbol with the orange running through it.
Cyclonus:
http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... 2152/1/76/
I'm not really liking how hard it is to spot the Decepticon logo when it's purple-on-purple with a clear background, so I think I'm going to emulate the e-Hobby version a bit here:
http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... 2354/1/74/
I think that the silver will break it up and highlight the symbol very nicely.
Thoughts?

Hm, talking about rubsign just comes off easily, I ran in something like that. Don't recall which Transformer, but I still have that Autobot rubsign.
In my impression, it feels like this newly rubsign isn't durable or stick well compare to the 80s' rubsign. Or maybe they were made cheaper. Is that right or is it just my imagination?

Since Classics debuted I replaced the insignia on any of the bots with rubsigns with reprolabels goodness.some came off better than others(never any lasting damage) but the recent RTS guys were easy as hell.
I have alaways made it my business to have some Autobot and Decepticon repro sheets around.with all the 3rd party stuff and all it just makes sense
