Generations constructicons?
I wonder if we will ever see a generations version of the constructicons?
I imagine they could make an awesome devestator figure! With all the advancements they have made in action figure production Id love to see what they could do with devestator. Not to mention the ariel bots, predicons etc.
I will never consider my collection complete without a group of modernized constructicons that form devestator on my shelf. Anyone know if these could possibly be in the works? Hinted at by hasbro maybe?
I needs me devestator!!!!

I personally don't find the energon repaints to be a suitable versions of the combiners to satisfy my desire to see them addressed by the classics/universe/generations line. But since they do exist and the pcc line had a similar gimmick; I doubt it will happen any time soon. Also, they are all pretty specific characters, especially since they are linked to each other, so the repaint opportunities are somewhat limited. Third party is probably the best hope or a custom/kitbash.

Open, used, missing parts, and no box or instructions.

I guess I should have been more specific. What I meant was: "Good luck finding a new one for less than $100."

Classics Dev is utter crap, but as far as Hasbro is concerned, he's already been done. I have heard rumblings about a 3rd Party group NOT named FansProject taking on an add-on project for that POS, but I'm thinking TFC's effort is probably about as good as it's gonna get.

I can't wait to pay $100 a pop bi-monthly over the course of a year for the upcoming 3rd party Constructicons.

We'll have to work on this. Maybe even make an acronym for the group.

I think I'm sitting this one out. Something is just not vibing with me on these. They look good, but IDK. I don't want to commit to something that is going to cost so much when we have yet to see the full combined mode.

Hey, stop putting doubt in my head. I'm already fcused on this.
However, pics ot Mixmaster and Bonecrusher would be very appreciated.
Also onto the normal topic of this thread. I did get lucky. I bought Classics Devastator for $50. I was really happy when I got that deal.
There's something about having every version of the Energon combiners on a shelf that is amazing. (I'm counting Nexus Prime as well)

I agree with you on this.
I would love to see new molds, not rehashed ones and ones where all of the parts transformed unlike the PCC combiners..
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Re: Generations constructicons?
i would love to see some Gen Constructicons. Even if they were all done scout class.
I believe with the scramble city combiners Hasbro should get its' head out of its' ass and put out for example.....a deluxe Hun-Grrr and scout class the rest of the terrorcons. It's such a dead easy concept i'm surprised it hasn't been done. Especially for Classics/generations.
That could be done for every scramble city combiner. Just put in a teeny tiny bit of creative effort and make the limbs actually look like a limb with a hand or a foot that has a knee or an elbow instead of a crippled and distorted appendage like they've been doing lately and the TF world would rejoice. IMO.

Re: Generations constructicons?

It all boils down to costs and engineering. By standard, combiners are Triplechanges, or even Quadchangers if you're dealing with Scramble City. Robot, vehicle, torso, and robot, vehicle, arm and/or leg. Hasbro has stated that they won't do combiners unless they can do them perfectly. It's also stated that during Energon, Hasbro has the choice between 2 combiners with 5 molds, or 3 combiners with 3 molds plus 2 repaints.
So yeah, I don't see them happening any time soon
For now, the RiD Landfill repaint will have to do once I get him.

Re: Generations constructicons?
Classics Devy has already been done, but I agree that he's unsatisfying. I don't know why I can be satisfied with Universe Superion, but not so much with Classics Devestator. He's just ... not G1 enough. Where the mixing truck leg? The visored head? Hm.
Crazy Devy makes G1 Devestator a good Classics Devestator and I was just going to stick with that, but with the TFC combiner Devestator will be, pretty much, what I've always wanted from the guy. Of course the price is mind blowing and I can see this is not the release for everyone.

Did they say this AFTER putting out ROTF Devastator and the PCC figs? Those are all FAR from perfect. Unless their goal was lame...in that case they nailed it!
