It's come to my attention that there is still one or two leader slot(s) left in the DOTM line! People have already pointed this out, but here's alittle place to actually sit down and discuss it. first, a grid:

2007- Megatron-premium Megatron Optimus-Premium Optimus Brawl-Deep Desert Brawl

2009-2010- Optimus-Battle hooks optimus-Megatron-Shadow Command Megatron-Jetfire-Starscream-

2011- Sentinel Prime-Ironhide-Bumblebee.
I'm sure we'll get a few re-paints, but that's not the point. point is, theres a slot or two open.
Who should get that/those slots?
Megatron?
Shockwave?
Optimus?

I'm eager to here your opinions.

I would love to see a Leader Megatron. It should look more creepier in his MACK mode then the voyager mold. It should also come with his gun as seen in the movie along with a cloth hood and cape. Hopefully excited things will be revealed at Comic-Con!

It should definitely be Megatron. The Voyager one is good, but I still want one that I can display with my full-size figures rather than my smaller display. Hopefully the Leader one would have a cloth cape, a shotgun, and better rust/dirt painted on.

Traditionally Optimus Prime has always taken a Leader-class slot. Megatron should also. But I think Shockwave should get one as well. I don't agree w/ Starsceam and Ironhide getting a Leader-class slot. I always believed Bonecrusher from the original movie should have a Leader-class toy.

Then definitely Megatron from DOTM complete with shotgun. Please let's have a decent Megatron to stand next to ROTF Prime!

I heard there only 3 spots for leader clas per year.
Some you mentioned are reapaint or havent been released in the same year.

I would like a leader class Megatron,though i dont know his vehicle mode size would be.

That's actually a very good point! BOT modes would look great for Prime and Megatron standing side by side, but what about ALT modes? Surely there must be some mass shifting involved if they scaled well too!

Yes, repaints or re-molds, like Nightwatch optimus prime, wich I didnt mention, or that black fire ROTF Optimus of masterpeice ROTF Screamer, because those were either pointless, or not mainstream releases. as for 2007 premium prime, he had a new head, and premium megs had a practically movie accurate paint scheme. Deep desert brawl was mentioned just to add alittle substance, that, plus people consider him variety, like, should I get Green or Brown Camo Brawl?
also, if it's 3 a year, then next year's sub-line can provide 3 more, and one or two could be new molds!
I'm thinking Megatron, Shockwave, And ROTF Optimus repaint/re-tool. We just have to wait and see. at any rate, those are high hopes, and as for Bumblebee, that was a total WASTE!

I've always been hoping for a Leader Class Blackout/Grindor. But I'll settle for a Megatron and/or Shockwave.

I say Megs AND Prime. I would love to see this version of Megatron. He's the best of the 3 movie versions. And I say Prime so a third party could do a movie accurate trailer for him, complete with accessories like those awesome battle axes he used......

Wouldn't HftD leader BB make five leaders for RotF?

I think next summer we'll see Shockwave and hopefully Megatron. I'd also love Prime with the remolded stomach, but the other two are more important.

Of course, like everyone else said, MEGATRON. And if there was a 5th slot, I also vote for Blackout. I like the Voyager mold, and considering he has the honor of being the very first Transformer on a live movie screen, he deserves it.

Megatron,Optimus and Jetfire were released on 2009 and Starscream on 2010.

They could be out of scale vehicles modes or doing like the Cyberverse version:

That, And he's supposed to be the biggest decepticon in the first move, even bigger than megatron and prime. the voyager just doesn't do him justice, hes so puny...

that was ultra class, not leader. we have a DOTM Leader version now, so it's official, Bumblebee has a figure in every class accept voyager.

Megatron is also my #1 Vote
He needs the chains and shotgun. Plus light, sounds, and a moving mouth arn't all bad, on a megatron!

I think we do! I for one like hearing people voice they're opinions! Not only that, but I think there's a hasbro employee or two with an account here...
I mean, surely there must be. How else would hasbro people keep up to date on they're own stuff?

more to the point, It would help them keep a close eye on the third party market.

Long haul even less than the others, because of the fact that, though he may be awesome, and larger than life, He played such an insignificant role, the voyager and re-paint were best in my opinion. they were in scale with the other constructicons. if your going to nominate one leader constructicon, nominate them all, and make them combine into a 3 foot tall devastator!

your right about his minimal roll.....but.... it was almost as much of a roll as Megs got in DOTM. ahhh....and it's sad.

I agree, but I am not surprised. We will probably see more.

As far as the question goes.....I have about enough dotm figures. I am extremely underwhelmed by the new movie line except of course Leader Sentinel Prime and Leader Ironhide. Those suckers are just plain great.

I say Megatron, ShockWave was cool but not significant enough for a Leader with no Earthen alt-mode.
Optimus is also awesome but we have the ROTF version, if they make a new Optimus, we'll never get Megatron o_O

I sure would like Blackout though, but most likely never gonna happen.
Odd that he got a toy at all for DOTM...

Whats sad is that the Cyberverse Commander release of him is (IMO) better then the voyager.
