Has anyone figured out what the pegs on his hands are for? It looks the right size for the holes on a HA figure but the thumb is in the way.

On another note: this is one tricky figure to transform. It takes ages! I'd say it's one of the hardest to transform after RoTF Prime, MP Megs and Hot Rod.

My ROTF prime still to this day has never seen vehicle mode. That thing drove me crazy! I always keep my HA figures MISB so I can't really help. My Roadbuster/Intimidator custom is almost ready for more pictures!!!!!

i noticed it as well. it may be so you can pose steeljaw with him. who knows.
and your right his transformation is complex but the robot mode is really nice.

I like the complex appearance - no other figure seems to destroy the car so much as this. I wish his hips were wider though. And his legs a little longer. And I really wish he had a thigh swivel.

I never noticed 'em until you pointed that out just now!

I was going to say that they were there for the human fig to perch on his hand, like HA Bumblebee, but, looking at them now, that wouldn't work #-o

It looks like the 'thumb' was originally molded to swivel independently from the rest of the hand... so who knows what 'play positions' Hasbro had in mind during development 8-}

- I think integrating the human figs in 'traditional' Human Alliance beyond sitting in the driver's seat are an afterthought, as they never seem to fit anywhere on the damn cars anyway (Barricade/Frenzy being the exception that proved the rule)

I think it may be a clip for Steeljaw's chain, but I can't find Steeljaw at the moment (put him away for safekeeping as I'm diggin' Leadfoot at the mo, he's around somewhere)

I find getting Roadbuster to bot mode fine, it's getting him back to vehicle mode that's the pain - the door panels should be all flush with each other, and always seen to shift around - but the weaponised look actually has panels looking like the cars' bodywork is split into pieces - I have less of a recognisable 'car mode' to work back towards, if you know what I mean.

It's been said countless times before, but I think they should have picked a scale, and went with 'weaponised' and 'stock' modes within that scale - as an Alternators devotee, I would have preferred weaponised looks for all 3 in deluxe, and stock looks for HA.

Just came across Steeljaw and thought I'd come back with this: Yup, the chain end does indeed clip onto Roadbuster's hand (the post is actually slightly longer than Leadfoot's, less chance of falling off also)

Wonder if there will be some other accessory that'll fit both if there is indeed a 3rd HA Wrecker. Fingers crossed... :grin:

The peg is the right size for the RotF HA human figures, but the thumb can get in the way. I managed to get Epps to stand there because the hole in his foot if so close to his heel. My only complaint with the figure is the visor, it's too small because of the gimmick.

His legs and torso remind me a bit of classics Mirage.

He was not too difficult to get into robot mode. I haven't gone back to car mode yet, but I can tell it will take some time to transform him back.

I trimmed the pegs beside the fan as getting those side chest panels off was scary. Get yourself a nice bevvy, take the phone off the hook, put on some soothing music, get comfortable and start transforming him!

Trying to get that thing's arms to line up in altmode, they should have issued Valium with it instead of a coin 8-}

Ah, my apologies - damn memory was obviously not with it!

Slightly off topic, but holding out hope HasTak has secured the right licensing in place with Ferrari beforehand to get a Mirage / Dino Human Alliance mold out, I still think it may surface next year - I have a feeling HA Soundwave will be delayed for some reason - and an Alternators-scale Ferrari 458 Italia would be AWESOMEsauce.
