37 bucks, for a deluxe! That's a little too much money for a deluxe.

The Pre-Order is for the Takara version of the set not the Hasbro one. As evidenced by their identification number DD-13 and the fact it says Takara underneath.

That's why they are more expensive.

The regular Hasbro releases should be the normal 12 to 15 bucks depending on where you get them.

Yep, Takara's are always pricier. I usually go with Takara over Hasbro releases for most lines due to better (in my opinion) colors and paint apps, but with the movie lines there seem to be few figures that have a lot of differences in their Takara release vs their Hasbro release.

But is this particular release a Takara exclusive?

We're getting (from Hasbro) a Deluxe Soundwave with a MechTech weapon; and we're getting a Human Alliance Soundwave with Laserbeak. But a Deluxe Soundwave with Laserbeak?
