Zap2it has reveal Transformers Prime "One Shall Rise" will be a three part story airing on October 1st, 8th, and 16th. Episodes descriptions have been provided for the first two parts, see below:

Twas kind of expected to be a three-parter, since we were told at SDCC that the finale would be a multi-parter.

A little of both. It's the season 1 finale, but it's supposed to set up a lead in to season 2. But it's officially a trio of season 1 episodes.

This confirms the story is a three parter, provides an episode description for part 2, and reveals the air date of part three.

No it hasn't, and with it being a 3 parter, don't expect a MASSIVE surprise until part three airs...

That was episode 23, "One Shall Fall". "One Shall Rise" consists of episodes 24-26.

This isnt no suprise to me I done told everyone that the ending for Prime S1 would be a multipart either 2 or 3 prts unknown but been confirmed to be 3prts.

I also stated that the beginning of Prime S2 will also be multipart most likely just 2 prts the fallout from the ending of One Shall Rise.

I said that the Autobots would get an unusual Ally to combat this great threat my choice is Starscream he has been absent for 7 episodes.

Ohter possibilities is Megatron or MECH. But my money is on Starscream.

I say Season 2 will begin from where this leaves off and could possible introduce us to 1 or 2 new characters.

Zap2it has updated their Transformers Prime episode guide with a brief synopsis for part three of the season finale "One Shall Rise". Part one of the three episode season finale will air October 1st of the Hub.
