I saw a Hunt for the Decepticons Leader Optimus in the store this evening for $25.99 and I wasn't sure whether to get him or not. In the end I passed, but only because I bought three RTS voyager guys I've never seen in store before for $9.99 each.
I was wondering what you guys thought about the Optimus figure and if you think it worth getting (I realize it's 1/2 normal retail, but that doesn't always mean anything, especially since i think he's been there for a few months xP).
is it a figure worth buying...?

He regularly shows up at Ross for $19.99. It's a good mold but it's inferior to ROTF Leader Prime due to the insane face deco.

I have both versions, they're the same mold with the exception of the battle damage and the hooks instead of the blades. It's just an awesome figure, I try getting every version I can. Personally, if I didn't have it, I would have bought the Prime.

If you don't have ROTF Leader Op I'd say get the HFTD Leader Op at that price. On ebay the ROTF Op is going from $70 to over $100. Despite the negitive comments about him being a headache to transform, it is an awesome mold. I passed on ROTF Leader Jetfire and regret it to this day.
Jetfire's retail price was $45 to $50. Now on ebay or Amazon he's no less than $135 new and $100 used.
$20 to $25 is a steal for this Optimus Prime mold. Don't pass him up!

If you don't have a movie Leader Prime, get it. Keep the bigger one displayed in bot mode and, if you have a voyager, display that one in alt mode in front of the leader.

It's a great mold, but not the best version of him. If you don't have a version of it yet, then go ahead and get it.

Absolutely get him. They had a couple at Ross and TJ Maxx here and I snatched them up. I have one in truck mode that I'm painting detail on (missing electronics) and another in bot form. Since the time I bought these, neither store has restocked them.
