This is my first time posting here so please move this posting to the right forum if I got it wrong. I been a big fan of Transformers since the eighties but like many, I drop off the Transformers radar until the movies came out and since then I been hooked on it. My son started to play with transformers when he was two, he is four now but that has sparked my interest in Transformers once again.
I started collecting Transformers figures but my focus is only the characters from the movies and only the characters from the movie. I try to purchase Transformers that resembles the movies the closest in size and color but lately I had trouble finding some of the “less important” characters; is there someplace I can obtain those transformers I’m missing at not very expensive prices; I know there are places online I can get them but they seem a bit pricey for me. My plan is to give my collection of Transformers to my son when he becomes a young adult.
This is a list of the Transformers I have, the items with an "X" at front are the items I have and the rest, I’m still missing. If there are any characters on this list that should not be there please let me know, or if there are any characters that I’m missing let me know as well. I only collect what figure per character even though (one Bunble Bee, one Ratchet, one Optimus Prime)

Hi, welcome to the boards. Please leave your weapons as well as your sanity as the door and have fun. And remember:
WARNING: Seibertron.com contains nuts!
You're not the only one who's trying to build a Movie collection with only one figure per characters, but as you'll soon see, that's really hard to do, especially with Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. One piece of advice: ignore scale completely. Hasbro doesn't care about that, so neither should you
In a perfect world, these would be my picks:
Autobots
Optimus Prime: RotF Leader
Bumblebee: HftD Battle Blade Bumblebee
Jazz: Premium Series Autobot Jazz
Ratchet: Movie 1 Voyager Ratchet
Ironhide: Movie 1 Voyager Ironhide
Jetfire: Leader Jetfire
Sideswipe: RotF Sideswipe
Skids: RotF Autobot Skids
Mudflap: RotF Mudflap
Jolt: RotF Jolt
Arcee: RotF Arcee
Chromia: RotF Chromia
Elita-1: Japanese HftD Elita-1
Wheelie: Legends Autobot Wheelie
Sentinel Prime: Leader Sentinel Prime
Que: Wheeljack (upcoming)
Dino: ??? (no figure announced)
Roadbuster: Deluxe Roadbuster
Topspin: Deluxe Topspin
Leadfoot: Deluxe Leadfoot (upcoming)
Decepticons
Megatron: All Leaders (one for each form)
Starscream: HftD Leader
Barricade: Movie or DotM Deluxe
Bonecrusher: Deluxe Bonecrusher
Brawl: Leader Decepticon Brawl
Blackout: Premium Series Blackout with Scorponok
Rampage: any red Rampage
Long Haul: Voyager Long Haul
Mixmaster: Voyager Mixmaster
Demolishor: Shanghai Showdown Demolishor (he's white, thus movie accurate)
Devastator: Supreme Combiner Devastator.
Soundwave: RotF and DotM Deluxes
Ravage: Legends Ravage
Sideways: Any Deluxe will do.
Grindor: Voyager Grindor
Ze doctor: Scalpel
Shockwave: DotM Voyager Shockwave
Dreads: DotM Crankcase
No figure for Igor I'm afraid, though you could make due with a loose Long Haul head

Firstly, welcome to seibertron.com!
Warning: Seibertron.com may contain nuts!
Now to your question:
A good deal of the ones you've mentioned haven't come out yet, or are unlikely to be made.
Autobot - Brains (TF 3) no word if this is going to be made
Autobot - Dino (Mirage?) (TF 3) coming soon
Autobot - Que (TF 3) coming soon
Autobot - Wheelie (TF 2,3) should be easy and cheap to get online, get the legends class one, it's closer to scale with the main toy line, the deluxe is huge
Autobot - Leadfoot (TF 3) coming soon
.
.
.
Decepticon - Crowbar (TF 3) currently only Cyberverse Legion, should be available locally
Decepticon - Hatchet (TF 3) currently only Cyberverse Commander, also easy to find
Decepticon - Driller (TF 3) unlikely to be made
Decepticon - Devastator (TF 2) Two options, Legends Class which is more movie accurate in combined mode and amount of Constructions, Supreme Class large but simple both I believe cost about the same now though
Decepticon - Frenzy (TF 1, 2) Comes in TF1 Barricade and Human Alliance Barricade, there is also a horrible looking Fast Action Battler, but ignore that one.
Decepticon - The Fallen (TF 2) Best one currently is the NEST version with Staff and removable face
Decepticon - Igor (TF 3) unlikely to be made
Decepticon - Jetfire (TF 2) best one is the Takara Buster version that comes in the two-pack with Buster Optimus Prime, but it's expensive
Decepticon - Long Haul (TF 2) the original Voyager is amazing
Decepticon - Megatron (TF 1,2,3) Easy and cheap to get mostly, TF1 is the Leader Class Premium version best, might be really expensive now though, ROTF also Leader Class but there is no Premium here, TF3 currently only the Voyager best version of that is the one that comes in the expensive History set
Decepticon - Ravage (TF 2) Get the original release of the deluxe figure, most screen accurate and it's pretty cool
Decepticon - Soundwave (TF 3) There are two versions to get here, the ROTF deluxe preview figure and the upcoming TF3 deluxe.
As in places to get them, try BBTS
http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/
They sometimes have great deals on figures and are having a sale right now, you might get something for cheap. Right now they have Scorponok for the cheapest I have seen him in ages:
http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/prod ... ode=retail
Also these guys are cool for loose figures and parts sometimes:
http://www.transformerland.com/
Then there is our buy/sell/trade forum
carbombya-buy-sell-or-trade-f36.html
Just start a thread asking for the ones you need, you might find a good deal by one of our members.
Happy hunting

If you want a good Barricade, go for the HA version. DOTM deluxe is good, but HA is superior. Plus it gets you a nice Frenzy.

My only correction to Dead Metal's list up there is I'd get the Legends class version of Ravage, as it looks better alongside the rest of the Deceps.

Someone said to ignore scale. This is good advice if you want everything displayed together. I have groups of TFs organised by scale so my HA figures are displayed separately to my leader Prime, for example.
