Transformers Prime Figures Discussion Thread
- Weapon: Sword
Ok guys so here is a place where you can talk about the new TF Prime figures.
I got Arcee and I'm really satisfied with it, only gripe I have is the design is not show-accurate. The posability is quite good and figure does look good in it's own right.
Hoping to get Knock Out, Ratchet and maybe Soundwave and Voyager Starscream next year.

Is there a release date for Cliff and the Vehicon?

To get the ball rolling I think this is the appropriate thread for my thoughts from an earlier post I wrote in the TF Toy Thread.
TF Prime / First Edition Deluxe
Bumblebee
: One of or maybe the best articulated deluxe Bumblebees out there. His light piping is
top notch. It reminds me of TF Animated Rodimus light piping. Light coming in from the top of the
head instead of the back is the way to go. He’s close to being show accurate accept for the doors.
They’re not close together enough for my taste and the shoulders are loose. In car mode,
I prefer the clear head lights. He has nice rims and no rear end kibble. He needs
a second gun to be complete, but MAN, what a great start for the TF Prime line.
Arcee
: I love bikes. She has to be one of my favorites. Everything from the wheels
to the windshield looks awesome. I’m not so fond of her blades in vmode. She doesn’t look bad,
she just looks better without them. In botmode I like her design, but the handle bars and
windsheild need to collapes farther down. Even with the front tire sitting flat on her back, her kibble
still sits too high, so I position the tire to protrude out from her back like the CGI model. She’s
sassy, tough and her articulation will let you express both. I know she’s not in scale with deluxe BB,
but she’s a buy.
Starscream
: I wanted to wait for the voyager version but I couldn’t resist. I thought his chest and
legs being visable in jet mode would bother me, but it doesn’t. His
transformeration is intricate, satisfying and my favorite out of the first three Prime deluxes.
In botmode it’s amazing how Hasbro captured his CGI look. When it comes to posing, he’s no
exception. Like Arcee and Bumblebee, Starscream has great articulation. Smarmy, sneaky, and
betrayal become visable when you display this figure. I do wish the rubber piece on his
forehead and his missiles were red. It’s ok, my red permanent marker took care of that.

I've only seen BB, but I bought him right away. I'm very impressed by this figure, and I look quite forward to getting the others. I enjoy that the gun can be stored in vehicle mode, and he's pretty buff for a Bumblebee.

That's just your opinion! Opinions aren't allowed on these forums!
I do not blame Michael Bay for crapping all over a huge part of my childhood. He just directed the scripts that were given to him. I blame Orci, Kurtzman, and Krueger, who seem completely incapable of concocting a story that even halfway makes sense.

How is the Cliffjumper fig? I've seen reviews, but I'm going full out to find if these toys are worth it

just got the first 3 retail deluxes and im very impressed. though i had the NYCC versions of Arcee and Bumblebee, the retail versions look awsome. Bee's chest dosnt seem to lock into place as well as the NYCC version and i just had to paint Arcee's forearms to get the show accurate look, but those are minor gripes to an overall wonderful group a figures.
the only thing that could really make these figures better would be a little more love with the paint apps

Arcee's bike mode is the closest Joe-scale TF I've ever come across. Her shoulder kibble makes her juuuuuust too wide, but Ren Scarlett looks pretty good riding Arcee.
