Not to mention one of Classics Mirage's Repaints is Dragstrip.
Dragstrip wasn't female/transgendered until FunPub got a hold of him/her.
Animated Dragstrip isn't in drag of transgendered or post op or any of that. She is female and in the Animated continuity always was.![]()
Geez, no one had this problem when Animated Red Alert was female.
I missed a little bit of Animated towards the end, but did Drag Strip ever appear on that show as female?
None of the Stunticons ever did. The're Botcon all the way.
To clarify, I put ""transgendered"" in there because of all the ensuing jokes over Dragstrip's "transformation" But yeah, I thought that Dragstrip being anything other than male was a FunPub invention.
If they were going with any other body Dragstrip would have been male. It's not like her femininity was factored into the story at all. The ideal body would have been Blurr but they were already doing a yellow version of it as Cheetor and there is no way the Club was going to pass up a Beat Wars/Transtech/Animated homage. They live for that crap.
Again, no one cared about Red Alert being a chick.

I Have to say first time I read the first comic of "Transformer : more that meet the eye" It take me a moment to realize that new fembot was in fact Rodimus Prime...

...I'm with you on the legs, but the rest of him is built like an Evangelion, and once you see that, it's hard to see him as anything else.
Also, let's be blunt: If Soundwave were female, there would be no way they could get away with Laserbreak basically being his chestplate.
How about Cybertron Brimstone? VERY slender build.

Thanks for all the replies; It's good to see my first attempt at a thread get off the ground.
@Nemesis Primal, I agree, and in fact I think Wreckloose and Undermine are quite feminine too.

I've learned over the years that there's no real rhyme and reason as to what people will reply to, but I'm glad to see a new face throwing their hat into the circle, so to speak. I've enjoyed this topic, btw.

Eh, I'll have to disagree with those. Wreckloose looks pretty masculine to me, and Undermine... Welll...Comparing Undermine's body to a normal humanoid body structure is an exercise in futility. It could look female, but not a female of any species I've ever seen. (To be fair, it doesn't look like the male of any species I've ever seen, either.)
How about DOTM Reverb? Thin waist and shoulders, wide hips, knee-high boots, weapons on what basically amounts to bracelets?
(I'd mention Knock Out from Prime, but none of his toys look as effeminate as he does on the show. Kind of a shame, really, the whole vain, sadistic pretty-boy thing just works for him.)

I have a very tight definition of what I consider a feminine looking transformer... so, none.

It's FunPub. It's their specialty.
I'm a killjoy, and proud of it!
don't take that to mean I'm a killjoy just because I can be, though...
