I'm looking to eventually get the new MP 11 Starscream however I have two questions:
1. Does anyone know if he'll be getting an American release?
2. Does anyone know or is it pretty probable that he'll be getting repaints (Thundercracker and Skywarp?)
Thanks and God bless!

I thinks it's a safe bet that the MP-11 mold will show up stateside however it remains to be see as to who That Character may be or what repaints will follow.

Nope. No one who can tell you knows.
But the smart money says: (1) yes, Starscream will get a US release (though possibly without the coronation accessories) and (2) Skywarp and Thundercracker are inevitable, though we might have to wait a little while for them (since we got them previously), and these may or may not see a US release.

And...........based on experience, the other Seekers will use the same molds. Not being redundant and all but the Takara seekers has different head sculpts while the Hasbro version just used the Starscream head.

#1 - No official statement from Hasbro yet; but it took almost a whole YEAR before confirmation that MP-10 Optimus Prime will be released in the States when he was released late last Summer or early Fall in Asia. My suggestion, if you like what you see now, save your money and order the Takara version.
#2 - It makes sense to me that the Hasbro version would get repainted, but let's look at the original MP seekers Hasbro released. Starscream was recolored into a more G1 scheme (the Takara version was a bluish-green) and was a Wal-Mart exclusive. Maybe a year later, Wal-Mart also offered Skywarp (used the same face sculpt as SS, when Takara made a new face). Hasbro to date has not released Thundercracker.
So, this is just a warning that Hasbro might not release MP-11 as is, and getting two repaints of it might be off the books. We don't even know if Takara is planning on doing this, and I couldn't blame them if they didn't.

Even since I bought MP-11 (Great figure BTW
) I've been looking to get Skywarp and Thundercracker. Yeah, Skywarp is decently priced ~ $80US, but I'm holding out on Skywarp since thundercracker is impossible to find and costs $200 at the least
Hope Skywarp and TC get a US release in the MP-11 mold. I rather just have Starscream alone if I can't have all 3 seekers.

How quaint that everyone so far seem to forget that the MP-11 Starscream was already repainted as Sunstrom.
Sure, it cost a kidney to buy but he's more limited.
Screw the usual repaints. Gimme some official Thrust and the other coneheads!

I have no idea what's up with online stores. Preorders for MP-11S costs like $2 more than MP-11. I got MP-11 for $135, and the preorder price for Mp-11S in local shops is $137...
